They are strictly bureaucratic about the fact that their anti-gun rule was violated.

I think it's more than that. They are probably jumping with joy over this.

Didn’t see that in the news stories but still idiotic. Gonzaga would have wanted the kids killed rather than they protect themselves. Should have had a “Gun Free Zone” sign on their door. Would have stopped the invasion in their tracks.

I emailed them that I had been hoping my daughter might attend a Catholic college but that I would never send her to this place due to their depraved response to these kids.

I wonder if any of the administration owns guns. Is that allowed?

These idiots say that there is plenty of security to protect the students - even when criminals are walking through that security.

If they make representations that their security is enough, then sue the school for failing to protect the kids.

It’s time for the taxpayers and first of all parents to thoroughly investigate their son or daughter’s school of choice . . . Alums should withhold donations until there is a little common sense displayed at this university and for that matter any university.

There needs to be an evaluation all levels of government for waste, fraud and abuse. . . duplication of services, benefits, perks, outdated practices.

On second thought, this probably would never become a reality. . .we do have foxes guarding the hen houses.

According to the report, the perpetrator is no longer in custody—So in other words, they turned this violent career criminal loose, but they’re going to punish the victims.

The same Gonzaga administrators promoting this suspension would be tripping all over themselves offering their “thoughts and prayers” for the (potentially) slain students and their families. Jackasses.

I wonder if they’ll hire the intruder as a lecturer.

As a condition of their probation, they were probably required to get rid of their gun. Better would be to move to housing not associated with the school, and keep the guns.

The perp was Generation Feral (aka Amish).

I expect to see a push for the legalization of firearms on this university’s property soon!

Even though the incident took place off campus, the building that houses the apartment is owned by Gonzaga and school officials say their rules on no weapons is clearly stated.

What? The university does not allow the students to have kitchen knives?

The Gonzaga spokesman interviewed on camera is a friend of mine. I’ve known him for a while, though haven’t talked to him in some time. I’m hoping he’s simply touting the company line. This is flat out outrageous!

Building is owned by tghe university.

I would sue the University right back for lack of security & safety at one of it’s own buildings!!!

I would put LOTS of ZERO’s into that lawsuit. LOTS.

So, they are in trouble because they had a gun”””

The student with the gun has a CCW permit.

Well considering campus police were only twenty minutes away maybe those students over reacted.

ok, then, this is too crazy. If they have a CCW permit, and the possession ofthe gun is legal in every way, then what the heck is the issue here????
