Incumbent Sen. Kay Hagan (D-N.C.) is near the top of national Republicans’ target list for 2014 — and a new poll shows her lead over her potential GOP challengers has all but evaporated.

Against state House Speaker Thom Tillis, Hagan leads by only 2 points, 44 percent to 42 percent, according to the Democratic firm Public Policy Polling. She leads Rev. Mark Harris by 2 points as well, 43 percent to 41 percent, and nurse Heather Grant by 3 points, 43 percent to 40 percent.

Hagan needs to be attacked everyday until the election. Do this in every Senate race and our Republic may have a chance to survive.

“That’s a huge difference from PPP’s September poll, which gave Hagan leads of anywhere from 12 to 17 points against all possible GOP challengers.”

No worries. The race will be 51 to 49 until about the last hour. Suddenly, Hagen will win by less than 1%.

I have seen this movie countless times.

There is a year before the election, RINOs have plenty of time to screw this up.

I usually don’t have a lot of time for getting involved short of voting, but the smarmy, canned responses I’ve gotten when emailing her has driven me over the edge. When the pubbies field their (Conservative Tea Party) candidate, I will do whatever I am able to do to back them and get this Estrogenic excuse for an obot-traitor out of office....

Definitely...but I was more interested in the effect of Obamacare. 15 points is a lot outside of the months right before an election...though as you point out there’s a lot of time.

The best news is one more paragraph down in the Ploitico article.

Hagan trails physician Greg Brannon, the Rand Paul-endorsed candidate in the race, by 1 point: he leads 44 percent to 43 percent.

Brannon all the way. He’ll hang Obamacare around her neck at every opportunity.
Hope I get the chance to help dump Burr also in a few years.
