SHOCK: Howard Dean On Obamacare Website: "I'm Not Convinced It's Going To Be Fixed" (video)

HOWARD DEAN: There are two sort of aspects of this. And we can even focus on this one, which is the usual Washington panic, craziness, isolated from everything else that's going on in the country or the real problem which is they got to fix the website. And they've got to fixed the website.

And I'm not convinced it's going to be fixed -- you know, I've seen a lot of tech rollouts. We don't do those well in this country. My rule for them is -- and no matter what -- electronic medical records or the tax department, it takes twice as long, costs twice as much and often you have to do it twice.

They have got to start getting people enrolled. I think they can, but they may have to do it manually.

Next he'll say that perhaps maybe Obama doesn't INTEND to ever pay off the national debt.

Dean doesn’t want it to work. He wants single payer.

He is just trying to get back into office. This is his only chance at an opening.

but they may have to do it manually.

Hire a half million clerks, give them obamaphones and paper. The census hired 635,000.

Plus this pads the employment stats nicely.

"Obamacare's gone belly up in New Hampshire, Tom Harkin, it's belly up in South Carolina and Oklahoma and Arizona and North Dakota and New Mexico, California and Texas and New York, and South Dakota and Oregon and Washington and Michigan, and Washington, DC! Yeeeeaaargh!"

Two things are obvious:
a. They want to roll-out the full-version of this piece of societal-toxicity as close to when they will all be out of office, as possible.
b. If it doesn't work, there will be precedent for the President to “fix it” by decreeing a single payer plan that we can just borrow from the Canadian company that designed this mess- Didn't they help design and implement the Canadian Health System…Because that works sooo much better than this mess.

Complaining about the website is like focusing all attention to a front door knob that isn’t working on a house that’s burning down.

The issues are FAR greater than the website.

Their talking points remind me of the liberals during the 90s making the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal “all about sex in his private life”, after he lied to a Grand Jury.

I think they can, but they may have to do it manually.

Even the ACORN/Navigator frauds, who can assist people manually, have to log into the website. There seems to be no fully manual process to sign someone up that avoids the website.

Blind squirrel, meet broken clock.

Never in a million years would I think that I would be in agreement, on anything, with such an idiot as Howard Dean.

Dean doesn’t want it to work. He wants single payer.

I don't think so. Dean criticized the IPAB, the rationing board and in the process validated Governor Palin's death panel point.

Lately Dean has made some astute observations on Obamacare. Now, I don't know if he's giving the administration cover, or if he's simply an old-fashioned liberal and not the totalitarian type that Obama is.

Maybe he’s hoping Obama will get so frustrated, he will...

Do you think they’re just trying to lower expectations?

I can see them coming out at the end of the month with what looks like a winner and making all the naysayers look stupid.

We’ll never learn, we should move off the website crap and start pointing out how much people are going to be FORCED to pay and how they won’t have a choice.

Get ahead of them for a change, if the website still sucks there will be plenty of coverage for that.
