I don’t think so. I think you can put in any lowball number you like for income, which is NOT verified anywhere, and then you get the credit paid month by month, by the government, to the insurance company.

Washington State is verifying incomes just as it does for every other program in which the state is involved. I've already been asked when my 2012 federal income tax will be filed (it has been now).
