I met him in 2006. He was a kind and gentle man. Very devoted to Katherine. RIP.
I thought maybe you had met him before, as I know you've met Katherine. I feel SO bad for her. I can't help but wonder what health problems her husband had that drove him to this.

How very sad, I’ve known Katherine for several years and met Anders on occasion. He hated Washington and everything about it, and generally avoided coming here. Indeed he was a gentle and devoted man. I remember Katherine once saying (publicly, so this is not a breaking of confidence) that as a young woman she was a “jerk magnet” but all that was behind her when she met Anders.
I had hoped to visit her in Sarasota next weekend, but I will no longer make the intrusion.
Just wait for the Lefts’ smear campaigns to begin.
