This new breed of "Law Enforcement" officers make me want to puke. Bullies and cowards with military haircuts, bloused pants, black tactical boots and lead weighted gloves.

Punks that are only good for intimidating soccer moms and office workers.

There are not very many that could hold a candle to the cops that I knew growing up.

No offense, but this is yet another example of why we need far fewer police in this country. Unfortunately the vast majority of people believe that they will somehow be protected by the police and cede what is a personal responsibility, self protection, to the state. A very bad practice in my view. One that frequently has tragic results like Sandy Hook.

Unlike abortion, police should be safe, legal, and rare.

Sandy Hook Timeline deciphered from police dispatch and this new revelation [developing still]:

9:35 The first shots are fired; followed by 911 calls to the police.
9:36 Police are dispatched to the school.
9:36:35 An individual reports broken glass window at the front door and doesn’t know why it’s broken.
9:37:15 Same individual still on the phone with dispatch reports shots continuing from inside the school.
9:37:30 The first Newtown police officer arrives at the school. He parks nearly a quarter mile away at the top of the driveway to the school and waits for other officers to arrive. Those officers moved to the school on foot along the tree line but did not enter the school until the state police arrived.

9:37:45~ The 10 kids in Soto’s room make a break for it.

9:38:15+ Dispatch records indicate that about three minutes after the initial 911 call, a dispatcher told the officers that the shooting had stopped and the school was in lockdown. Within a minute of that report, the dispatcher alerted officers that teachers could hear shooting and states the “shooter is apparently still shooting in the office area.”

9:39+ The individual [who was on phone with dispatch telling them that shooting was going on in the school] is chased into the woods and taken him into custody while dispatch is reporting that shooting is still going on in the school.

9:40+ State police and Newtown police enter the school and e find the bodies of the principal and psychologist — request two ambulances.
