Mark Zuckerberg: Immigration Reform One of the 'Biggest Civil Rights Issues of Our Time'
Yahoo News ^ | 11/24/13 | Benjamin Bell

During an exclusive interview with "This Week," Facebook CEO and FWD.us founder Mark Zuckerberg criticized the current U.S. immigration system and framed comprehensive reform as a major civil rights issue.

"When you meet these children who are really talented, and they've grown up in America and they really don't know any other country besides that, but they don't have the opportunities that … we all enjoy, it's really heartbreaking - right? That seems like it's one of the biggest civil rights issues of our time," Zuckerberg said.

Yes, it is.

Middle class Americans are being disenfranchised and their private property rights eviscerated so that the ruling class elite can start purging them into high-rise containment facilities in preparation for the final solution.

Following the money, you’re absolutely right. There’s another aspect that is political, for the liberals, including the likes of McCain and other big government careerists.

They want to import as many people as possible from countries that don’t have a constitutional tradition like we do, people who really have no concept of, nor reverence for, a Constitution such as ours. It will ultimately make it easier for these liberals to abolish the Constitution and rule by oligarchic fiat. And having all of these additional democrat voters only hastens that day.

And I damn to hell every single RINO that helps the effort.

Honestly I think that’s worthy of a t-shirt. Maybe some google renegades could do a cafeteria flash mob there.

It wouldn't surprise me if Mr. Zuckerberg doesn't understand the federal government's constitutonally limited powers. And if such is the case, then it would be no surprise if he also doesn't understand that the states have never delegated to Congress, via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate immigration.

In fact, Thomas Jefferson had noted, in terms of the 10th Amendment nonotheless, that immigration is a state power issue.

"4. _Resolved_, That alien friends are under the jurisdiction and protection of the laws of the State wherein they are: that no power over them has been delegated to the United States, nor prohibited to the individual States, distinct from their power over citizens. And it being true as a general principle, and one of the amendments to the Constitution having also declared, that "the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people," the act of the Congress of the United States, passed on the -- day of July, 1798, intituled "An Act concerning aliens," which assumes powers over alien friends, not delegated by the Constitution, is not law, but is altogether void, and of no force (emphasis added)." --Thomas Jefferson, Draft of the Kentucky Resolutions - October 1798.

So Mr. Zuckerberg's first step to reforming the so-called U.S. Immigration system is the following. Mr. Zuckerberg must work with his state and federal government representatives to propose an immigration amendment to the Constitution to the states as required by the Constitution's Article V. And if the states chose to ratify the amendment then the federal government would have the constitutonal authority that it needs to address immigration issues and Mr. Zuckerberg would be a hero.

I want to live in Mark Zuckerberg's mansion and have him support me.

And my freeper friends...

Yes, I would be an 'uninvited guest' or 'undocumented' - - I wouldn't have a formal invitation from him - but so what? What the hell does that matter if he's invited me or not? I get what he's saying. AND I want to live like he lives.

Open up the house and your wallet Zuckerberg... we want to live off you by YOUR standards. Everyone's welcome... let's join the party at Zuckenberg's place...

Sorry Mark but I think you guys have overplayed the civil rights/race issue. The sheeple are about as numb to that subject as they are their freedom.

If these illegals are in such dire straits, does that make badguys out of the parents who put them in this situation?

Make it a misdemeanor to reside illegally in this country, and further hit parents with trafficking charges.

OK Mark, send your kids to east San Jose where they will be taught in Spanish

Whatta laff.

Dead on.

The little creep is trying to position himself as some sort of Noble Savior.

Goody. So Marky, take a few billion out of your stock, and hand over the cash to all Los Indigeanos who want it.

Do it in Mexico, where it will really do some good.

Other than that, shut up, you traitor.

Immigration laws are written by countries to benefit the country not the immigrant.

Civil rights has nothing to do with it.

PS

Invasion is not a civil right

Citizenship for invaders is also not a civil right

What IS a civil right is for Americans to be protected from invasion by the government they pay for

And which is not defending us from it at the moment

Some college kid hits it lucky and becomes a billionaire and suddenly he’s an expert on immigration politics?

He’s one step below celebritards doing this.
