Iran, North Korea Secretly Developing New Long-Range Rocket Booster for ICBMs

Iranian missile technicians secretly visited North Korea as part of joint development of a new rocket booster for long-range missiles or space launchers at the same time nuclear talks took place in Geneva, according to U.S. officials.

Several groups of technicians from the Shahid Hemmat Industrial Group (SHIG), a unit in charge of building Iran’s liquid-fueled missiles, traveled to Pyongyang during the past several month, including as recently as late October, to work on the new, 80-ton rocket booster being developed by the North Koreans, according to officials familiar with intelligence reports.

The booster is believed by U.S. intelligence agencies to be intended for a new long-range missile or space launch vehicle that could be used to carry nuclear warheads, and could be exported to Iran in the future.

Recent U.S. intelligence assessments have said that both North Korea and Iran are expected to have missiles capable of hitting the United States with a nuclear warhead in the next two years.

The Iranian cooperation reveals that the nuclear framework agreement concluded Sunday in Geneva has not slowed Tehran’s drive for missiles that can deliver a nuclear warhead to intercontinental range.

One official described the new booster as a thruster for a “super ICBM” or a heavy-lift space launcher.

“It is completely new from what they have done so far,” the official said.

Oct 21, 2013 - Panama Says It Will Release Most From Ship to North Korea "............ The July seizure of the freighter, the 450-foot Chong Chon Gang, near the Panama Canal caused a spat between Panama and North Korea and Cuba, one of the few countries that enjoy cordial relations with the isolated North Korean government. The seizure shed light on the clandestine maritime trading practices of North Korea, hobbled by United Nations sanctions over its nuclear weapons and proliferation activities.

The vessel’s crew, armed with sticks, tried to resist the Panamanian boarding party and disabled the cranes used to unload the cargo hold, piled high with 200,000 bags of sugar. Underneath, the Panamanians found 2 disassembled MIG jets, 15 MIG engines and 9 antiaircraft missiles. The Cubans acknowledged the military cargo was theirs and said they had been shipping it to North Korea for maintenance.

But the Foreign Ministry official said the parts were in “mint condition,” suggesting that they had been intended for North Korea’s use. The official also said Panama and Cuba had not discussed the military cargo, which remains impounded.

It was unclear what would happen to the vessel. The Panamanian official said the vessel was “in pretty bad shape after its very own crew damaged it when they saw the police coming.”.............

So Iran slows down on their Nuclear bomb so they can put that time into a booster rocket that will reach America, and Dudley Dipstick Obama , and Jack -off Kerry just gave them 8 Billion dollars to help pay for it.

Obama has kindly halted our Strategic Defense program. Wouldn’t want Iran and DPRK to spend all that dough for nothing.

Hard to imagine a story so openly corrupt as this.

When the AP is helping Obama to destroy us by keeping secret the fact that they are building a rocket capable of hitting us while Obama is selling us out to Iran.

God help us we are in the hands of treasonous people in the highest offices in the land . And we have two political parties helping them do it.

November 2, 2013 - China reveals its ability to nuke the US: Government boasts about new submarine fleet capable of launching warheads at cities across the nation "The Chinese government has revealed for the first time that it has nuclear submarines capable of attacking cities throughout the United States.

Last week, state-run Chinese news agencies - such as China Central TV, the People’s Daily, the Global Times, the PLA Daily, the China Youth Daily and the Guangmin Daily - ran identical reports about the 'awesomeness' of the People's Liberation Army's submarine force.

'This is the first time in 42 years since the establishment of our navy’s strategic submarine force that we reveal on such a large scale the secrets of our first-generation underwater nuclear force,' the Global Times said in a lengthy article titled 'China for the First Time Possesses Effective Underwater Nuclear Deterrence against the United States.'...................

November 25, 2013 - China new air defence zone move 'dangerous' "......Japan described China's move as an "escalation" on Saturday, after China announced the new zone.

On Sunday, Yang Yujun, a spokesman for China's Ministry of National Defence, said Japan's reaction was "absolutely groundless and unacceptable".

"We strongly require the Japanese side to stop all moves that undermine China's territorial sovereignty as well as irresponsible remarks that misguide international opinions and create regional tensions," Mr Yang said.

He also demanded that the US "earnestly respect China's national security [and] stop making irresponsible remarks for China's setup of the East China Sea Air Defence Identification Zone".

South Korea said it found it "regretful" that China's new zone partly overlapped with its own military air zone, and covered Ieodo, a submerged rock claimed by Seoul......."

What will the Neville Chamberlains of our time say after Iran begins launching nuclear tipped ICBMs at Israel, Saudi Arabia and the US? Ooops, we thought they negotiated in good faith?
Why is Wendy Sherman from the State Dept. involved in negotiations when she failed in negotiations with North Korea year ago?

The Iranian cooperation reveals that the nuclear framework agreement concluded Sunday in Geneva has not slowed Tehran’s drive for missiles that can deliver a nuclear warhead to intercontinental range.

No it hasn't. In fact the interim agreement doesn't touch Iran's missile program. That is continuing at full speed. In fact by not requiring Iran to stop missile development, or even slow it, the "agreement" (aka capitulation) gives tacit approval to Iran's missile development. Look for it to accelerate in the coming months.

The "agreement" (aka Kerry bending over and grabbing his ankles) basically gives the Iranians everything they could want while getting nothing in return. If you had asked the Iranians to pen a first chop at this agreement this is what you might have gotten. From what I heard on the radio coming home last night:

So what did Kerry and odumber get in return for immediate unfreezing billions in Iranian assets and easing economic sanctions that took years to put in place and were just beginning to have a significant effect? They got a promise that Iran would slow (slow, not halt) its weapons development program. That's it.

With this agreement they have not really done anything to impact the Iranian threat. It is quite possible, probable even, that the Iranian weapons development program is at a stage or working through some physics or engineering problems that will naturally slow it's visible progress. There is no-doubt plenty of work to be done that doesn't involve visible activity, tests, etc. They'll just focus on that for the next six months. Meanwhile their missile development, perhaps the most visible and easy to check up on, isn't even a factor in the agreement.

So if this agreement doesn't do anything to reduce the nuclear threat from Iran, what does it do? It keeps the radical mullahs in power. The economic sanctions were finally beginning to have enough of a telling effect that there has been significant and widespread unrest in Iran. This easing will allow day-to-day life in Iran to significantly improve. Thus the chances of an internal struggle and overthrow of the mullahs has now been virtually eliminated.

That's what this agreement really does: saves the necks (literally) of the mullahs and keeps them in power. Do you think Kerry and odumber, by dropping to their knees for the mullahs have bought some good will? {snort} You might want to ask Chamberlain how well that appeasement thing worked out. Or any time since then how well appeasement and buying "friendship" has turned out. Hey, it stopped North Korea...or no, wait, it did not... It has never worked before, and it will not work here. I hope Israel and Saudi Arabia can work out a deal and do what has to be done. Good luck guys...

“.................Does the employment of therapeutic euphemisms — workplace violence, overseas contingency operations, man-caused disasters — reassure Islamists that the United States is now their friend, and recognizably so by our extreme sensitivity in our choice of language? Or does our new vocabulary suggest to enemies that a country that won’t identify them by name will not punish them?

Did leading from behind in Libya impress our enemies by our magnanimity? Or did it encourage France and Britain to take the lead elsewhere rather than waiting for the United States to do so, on the idea that the U.S. wishes to rotate its once-prestigious leadership role?

In Syria, did warning Bashar Assad about “game-changer” red lines, but then taking no action, reassure him of America’s mellowness and therefore convince him to moderate his conduct in gratitude? Or did such flip-flopping convince Assad to press home his attacks with the assurance that the United States could not decide what it was going to do?

By objecting to Hosni Mubarak’s rule in Egypt, welcoming the election of Mohamed Morsi, and then criticizing the coup and subsequent junta of Egyptian military officers, did the U.S. remind Egyptians of our disinterested fairness to all parties, or convince them that we were erratic, confused, and not to be trusted?

Did consideration of watering down U.S.-induced sanctions against Iran in order to initiate discussions with Teheran reassure allies that they had been right to follow the United States’ lead and ratchet up the embargo on Iranian oil and commerce? Did it encourage the Iranian government to negotiate in good faith? Will Iran now cease its nuclear program, given that the United States is dropping sanctions, providing incentives, and showing its eagerness for a settlement? Will Israel and Saudi Arabia sigh in relief that Iran is now postponing its program in exchange for the end of sanctions — thereby cooling down tensions in the Middle East?

Did simultaneously announcing withdrawal dates and surge numbers for Afghanistan encourage our Afghan allies that we were flexible, and mitigate the extremism of the Taliban on the principle that they, just as we, were tired of fighting?

Did radical Islamists tone down their extremism on the news that the Obama administration had pulled out entirely from Iraq and wished to close down Guantanamo? Did the Cairo speech in front of Muslim Brotherhood grandees remind them why and how the U.S. and Islam were partners?

Have Israel’s enemies been encouraged to negotiate with the Jewish state by the news that America is now a disinterested broker in the region and no longer takes sides between the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, and Israel?

Does Recep Ergodan’s special relationship with Barack Obama encourage the former to protect human rights in Turkey — on the principle of being positively influenced by friendship with a U.S. president?

Did bypassing the United Nations in Syria, exceeding its resolutions in Libya, and weakening them in Iran strengthen the resolve of the U.N., or at least ensure a positive reception there for future U.S. initiatives?

Does lecturing Vladimir Putin about human-rights abuses mitigate them? Did welcoming him into the Syria discussions provide stability for the region? Is Putin thankful for U.S. acquiescence to his initiatives and therefore more likely to respect us for our belated sobriety?..................”

And when the bombs eliminate 10 American cities, the POTUS will blame someone else...

Bush perhaps?

Maybe the TEA Party...

Possibly he may come clean and say, “Oops, Butterfingers...heh heh, did I do that?”

What the world needs right now is a Curtis Lemay...

Someone with enough grit to take out NK, Pakistan and Iran in one overwhelming hour of bombing... We must utterly destroy these evil entities.

There are rare times when horrific action is called for...this is such a time.
