George Zimmerman had five guns and more than 100 rounds of ammunition with him when deputies arrested him earlier this month on domestic violence charges, according to court documents released Tuesday.

I’d love to have that lib AP writer in my grasp. Could not resist the AR-15 assault rifle comment. Zim had that, a shotgun, a 380 and 2 nines with 100 rounds of ammo. That would just about fill up all the magazines and perhaps another half of one for the AR. BFD.
Meanwhile he intermixed search warrants and arrest warrants making it sound like they were served the same day at the same time. In fact, we even have a talking warrant as according to the lib reporter the warrant says this and the warrant says that. Never saw a talking warrant in my entire life but I guess they have them at AP.
This is a classic he said she said and were it not Zim, the matter would have been dismissed for lack of evidence.
That said, I have grown weary of Zim’s little piccadillos. Time for him to move on with his life.

The point that they are making is that he is accused of threatening his girlfriend with a gun during the domestic incident. So the guns were in the home. Question is did he actually brandish a weapon and threaten her with it? Doing so would be a crime, unless his life was at risk.

A search warrant made public by the Seminole County court clerk shows that Zimmerman had a 12-gauge shotgun, an AR-15 assault rifle and three handguns when he was arrested Nov. 18 at his girlfriend’s house. Zimmerman had three handguns: a Glock 19, a Taurus 9mm and an Interarms .380-caliber. Deputies also collected two cellphones, a pocket knife and a flashlight, among other items.

If I recall correctly, at the time, he was getting his stuff from his previous residence. Is it really surprising that he'd have 5 guns. Hell, I'd have more than that. 100 rounds of ammo is nothing unless you're some liberal newsthing. Hell, I have more than that sitting on a shelf behind me that I haven't bothered to rotate into my regular ammo.
This headline was written specifically for low-information idiots who don't know anything about the incidents except for maybe what they've seen in headlines or the lede.

When I got kicked out of “our” house and became a bit transient, I took all the weapons apart, took a piece needed to work, and left all the rest. Didn’t want to be driving around L.A with weapons in my trunk.

I have just shy of 70,000 rounds NOT including .22lr...
I don’t have a single caliber less than 100 rounds. I think the most unusual caliber I have is 45-70 for my pistol and I have over 500 rounds of that! About 10 rounds of that per trip to the range is enough!

And was any of it illegal? Any of it? Any of the guns? A single bullet? No? Then why bring it up?
