Sad that it was a hoax. I thought someone was finally standing up against perversion.
Are people on the social(ist) networking sites still sending her money out of charity and solidarity? How much did she bank at the end of her scam?
As I recall, a number of us on FR called this a hoax immediately .
yep...smelled fishy from the beginning...
Wasn’t there a fake “N” word version of this only a month or so ago that made national news as well?
The couple unfairly accused needs to sue the waitress.
Seems all liberals are thugs...
99% of them are hoaxes
Freepers called this hoax early. As soon as the news came out!!!
There was another incident like this recently - proven to be a hoax. Then, this comes up - also, apparently, a hoax ...
I don’t know what it is about these people - do they think they are making a point, advancing their agenda?
All they are doing is casting suspicion and doubt on themselves and their whole community - so that when [or if] it ever REALLY happens, the victim will not be believed ...
The local authorities should be encouraged to charge these hoaxers with “creating a public disturbance”, with a judge giving them a fine equal to or greater than any money they received for their hoax. In addition to court costs.
There’s seem to be quite a few “hate crime” hoaxes involving people of a certain sexual disposition. There was recently the case of the lesbian ex-basketball player in Nebraska, and I vaguely recall of few others. Why is that?
This eatery is in a cursed business location. Every previous establishment at this site has gone out of business including an International House of Pancakes which was the tenant prior to the Asian Bistro.
When the bistro opened my wife and I both gave it less than 6 months to survive and frankly it didn’t look very crowded when I would pass by.
From the beginning, I had a feeling this was a publicity stunt to get the bistro some “free” advertising and sympathy customers walking through the door. Based on the parking lot density a couple days ago, it seems to have worked.
Here’s a response from a ‘progressive’ over at The Raw Story...
“Does it really matter if it really happened or not? What matters is that it could have happened, and we need to have dialog so that it doesn’t happen in the future. I applaud this woman for her efforts.”
