The people who stepped forward to challenge her claims were doing something to stand up for the truth. Better than nothing, IMHO.

You don’t stiff someone on a tip for work they’ve done. If you don’t like them, you get up and leave before any service is provided. That sends a clearer message.
Depriving a person of the expected and customary compensation for their services is a form of theft. It’s despicable, really.
