Now do you really think that stiffing a waitress is the proper venue for that? I think scripture is screaming and calling you a pharisee…..warning you against casting that first stone…..

The Bible condemns homosexuality. That stone was cast over 2,000 years ago by a source greater than us.

Homosexuality goes against nature and natures God. Nothing found in nature engages in it. It's an abonimation.

In retrospect, there was never a more deserving waitress to be stiffed. After all, she was a liar and a defamer, implicating her customers as bigots. But, of course they would not have known that at the point of tipping.

But it turns out that she would have deserved it.

And, I am happy to cast the first stone. Seems like a direct hit.

This is an endemic problem in modern Christendom.

The Christian way of dealing with a sinner is the same no matter what the sin of the sinner. Minister the love of God to the sinner in such a way that the sinner recognizes that this is a better way to go than the sin is. Don’t hurl a bible at the sinner with a catty comment then stalk off.

Some people have created a category of extra-horrible sin that is exempt from such outreach. They’re wrong, and they are probably covering up for exercising a weak simulacrum of the gospel themselves. The generic gospel directive is “Honor God in your body.” Now if someone happens to be naturally heterosexual, they might figure this is superfluous. WRONG. They could be heterosexual “unto the flesh.” (Last time I looked, divorce rates were almost the same for professed Christian believers and unbelievers. That tells me there is a problem.) And anyhow if so, they are prone to looking down their noses at sex sinners, wondering why those sinners can’t be as good as them. When they are only sinning in a different manner.

And here’s what the weird thing is.

Sexual expression with God in it is BETTER than sexual expression without God in it!

Yes you read that right.

It’s like our modern self righteous acting weak Christians don’t even know what a treasure that sexual expression with God in it is.

Those who DO know, are more likely to show mercy to sex sinners. Because they know they have something positive they can teach those sex sinners about.
