Group Receives $1.1 Million Grant to Gather Obamacare Success Stories

Cancer patients are being dropped from their health insurance plans, the “keep your doctor” mantra touted by Obama turned out to be a lie, the website is a disaster, rising healthcare costs are making the Affordable Care Act not so affordable, and the list goes on and on. With so much negative Obamacare coverage in the news, it’s no wonder that one “nonpartisan” group has been given a $1.1 million grant to create a database of success stories (unlike, you know, these).

Over to you, Fox News:

Families USA, which describes itself on its website as a non-profit dedicated to “the achievement of high-quality, affordable health care for all Americans,” received the $1,100,000 grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Oct. 4.

The grant, which was first reported by CapitolCityProject.com, is meant to help Families USA expand the database of “real people” sharing their stories of enrolling in ObamaCare. Families USA solicits such stories on its website, asking Americans to submit their examples of how they are benefiting from the Affordable Care Act to educate others.

“The best way to do that is to tell your story, giving a real example of the status quo and the impact of change,” the website says.

As one would expect, the group is hardly “nonpartisan.” According to Capitol City Project, the group has close ties to the administration and Enroll America.

With all the negative press and one delay after another being announced, the administration would, I'm sure, desperately welcome such a database. After all, Obama recently said at the Wall Street Journal CEO Summit, “We obviously are going to have to remarket and rebrand,” which he said would be “challenging in this political environment.” But the 'challenge' of doing so may have less to do with the political environment than with the law itself.

Exactly! In addition, millions of our tax dollars are legally identified in the ACA to brainwash us and lie to us about why we need to sign up for Obamacare.

Was never worse in Nazi Germany, USSR or Eastern Germany ......

Mmmmm........a million and a half to hallucinate about Boomamba/Care. The Boomamba CYA'ing is getting into high gear.

NOMINATED FOR CYA-BS BOOB OF THE YEAR: “We went straight into problem solving,” Boobamba's COS McDonough told the NY Post. “We knew that going into this, that no plan survives first contact. We knew that we would be confronted with challenges along the way.”

Yeah, sure.

Did they "find out" before or AFTER after Dim offices were inundated w/ angry cards and letters WRT cancellations?

Before or AFTER Dims went running for cover---as it finally sank in that their seats were in jeopardy---and so was control of the Senate?

====================================================

PASS THE WORD VOTERS: E-v-e-r-y conniving Democrat voted for O/Care---Nationalizing 1/6th of the US Economy into a Democrat Cash Cow. ALL the untraceable O/Care money from enrollments, fines, penalties, taxes, fees, and asset confiscation (from Medicaid users) goes to your "reliable, trustworthy government."

"LETS MAKE A DEAL, DEMOCRATS." Stand tall, and vote aye.
When the zillions start rolling in, you get a piece of the action.

==============================================

Did they find out about the "Obamacare challenges" before or AFTER this prophetic NEW REPUBLIC PIECE:

Obamacare's Threat to Liberalism

There’s a term of art that the Obama White House uses to describe its neurotic supporters who instantly race to the worst- case scenario: They are known as “bed-wetters.” Two months into the dysfunctional life of healthcare.gov, however, that seems a perfectly appropriate physiological reaction.

Liberalism has spent the better part of the past century attempting to prove that it could competently and responsibly extend the state into new reaches of American life.

With the rollout of the Affordable Care Act, the administration has badly injured that cause, confirming the worst slurs against the federal government. It has stifled bad news and fudged promises; it has failed to translate complex mechanisms of policy into plain English; it can’t even launch a damn website.

What’s more, nobody responsible for the debacle has lost a job or suffered a demotion.

Over time, the Affordable Care Act’s technical difficulties can be repaired. Reversing the initial impressions of government ineptitude won’t be so easy.

I went to the Families, USA, website and looked at the ACA blog. 100% of the comments are tearing the ACA and Obama a new orifice. Looks like the only one profiteering from this activity is Families, USA, who took the $1.1M all the way to the bank!

Families USA has been at the front of marketing Obamacare for a long time, and it is far from a non-partisan group. Just look at who some of its directors are, the list is a virtual who's who of liberalism:

L. Toni Lewis, M.D. - SEIU

Sister Simone Campbell - NETWORK

Robert Crittenden, M.D. - Herndon Alliance

Philippe Villers - President and Co-Founder of Families USA Foundation.

Mr. Villers also serves on the board of the Herndon Alliance, and he is their Secretary and Treasurer of the Board. Both Families USA and the Herndon Alliance have overlapping leaders, and have been working all along to promote Obamacare. The Herndon Alliance talking points and Powerpoint presentations supporting Obamacare, and testing talking points to use against the repeal of Obamacare look like they were drafted at the DNC:

"The Republicans trying to repeal these needed health laws want to replace Medicare with a voucher system, turn Social Security over to Wall Street, take away your protections from insurance company exclusions of sick people, and let Washington lobbyists control your health care. They have the audacity to argue that the new law cuts Medicare when the truth is it will strengthen Medicare—extending the financial solvency of the program for an additional 20 years. The funding comes from reducing insurance company profits with no cuts to benefits. And the new law covers all preventive care with no co-payments. Without reform, seniors would have to pay over $400 a year more compared to what they will pay under the new law. We can’t let these insurance company lobbyists take this important reform away from seniors. That’s why the AARP and American Cancer Society endorse the reform."

"Public can be moved from initial skepticism and support for repeal of the law to favorable feelings and resisting repeal - your approach determines ability to facilitate this shift in attitude." From the Herndon talking points.

"Use transition or bridge language to meet the public where they are and relax their defenses. Propaganda anyone?

Government "grants" to these kinds of partisan, activist groups are just thinly disguised propaganda and political campaigning.

And it is ironic that the 1.1 million will go to a couple of queers and a transvestite who will just make up some stories and have them presented by the compliant MSM shills.

I’ll bet 1.1 million would buy some GOOD Benghazi-Barry, aka Bath-House Barry stories that are TRUE! (Fast and Furious, Benghazi murders, SEAL Team 6 murders, friends of Barry that were gay “strange murders”, what happened at Man’s Country, etc.)

But then, you’d also have to pay off the propoganda machine that is the mainstream media.
