If homo grifter Crouch is with Jesus now, then Jesus is not the dude we had always thought him to be. Maybe he’s Jesus Gonzalez who sold me an ounce of weed once.

.
Like this: (?)

Matthew 5:

[19] Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
[20] For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Or this:

Matthew 7:

[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work lawlessness.
[24] Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
[25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
[26] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
[27] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Yes, that obedience stuff is greatly over-rated, isn't it!

I can't help but be grateful for TBN in the 80’s and early 90’s. That they strayed and lost a lot of mature Christian viewers is a fact. I'm going to leave it to the Lord to judge the sincerity of their confession of Jesus Christ. All I know is that they did confess HIM to the ends of the earth!

I see in you a very desperate, Satan-trapped man who can only offer his own trap to everyone else.

YOU have invented an apostate gospel and you are projecting your guilt for that on everybody else.

God will himself bring you very close to the fire in hope that you truly will understand what evil is and what Christ is and will choose the right thing.

You misparse scripture so badly AND obstinately (you already had it explained to you) that a systematic refutation would be in vain at this time, IMHO.

You are seeing scripture and spirituality from DOWNSIDE.

Those who are joyously saved see scripture and spirituality from UPSIDE.

It makes an eternity of difference.

You sound envious, frankly. Better to do a mediocre job sharing the gospel with the whole world than do what you do which is apparently only to cast condemnations and walk off proudly.

The OBEDIENCE stuff is so highly rated, in fact, that we can’t even BE OBEDIENT in that sense without being denizens of the next world.

Christ, being God, was the only one who could carry perfect OBEDIENCE into this MORTAL coil — which is a PENALTY zone. He was the sinless God who took righteousness everywhere He went. We find ourselves sans the very resources to be perfectly righteous here! It is a very loveless place and love is the basis of God righteousness. God put this dilemma on us, on purpose, to get us to seek Him again. Then we get the love, and our righteousness begins to regrow and we are encouraged.

You won’t let Christ let your mind and soul out of the worldly box to inhabit the form He wants it to have.

I can already say this is not an easy struggle. I’ve been there, did that with legalism and all it got me was worries. Now right away there is a red flag because Christ says don’t worry! If you are giving a worry offering to Christ... then you’re doing it the wrong way. If you’re giving a guaranteed salvation acceptance offering to Christ... accepting that His blood goes to every sin... then you’re doing it the RIGHT way.

And now maybe you still will turn and tear me to pieces. I accept that eventuality and will just bow out of your way if you do that.

Tough luck then?

Yeshua said that you don’t get to the “next world” without it.

The obedience is only tough to those that are not his.

And if you think I’m woofing about love:

Look at commandments #1 and #2. Then look at yourself in a mirror. Also look at what Jesus said were the great commandments... same ones.

You’ve recast love as a bunch of abrasive condemnation with proud self-affirmation, and nothing more. That is piteous, sir. (I think you are a sir.) Step out into the love of Christ.

I find it easier and easier. And I still think you are majoring in condemnation with proud self-affirmation. If not entirely trapped there.

I told you that you were majoring in condemnation with proud self-affirmation. You just demonstrated that again.

I’m convinced that you’re beyond prayer. Bitterness and anger are expressed on one’s way to the bottom.

Ditch the pride game. You can take that advice easy. Or God will have to run you so close to the fire that the choice gets obvious.

The bible already has anger management. It’s called acceptance of the Holy Spirit. Anger is then directed rightly (be angry and do not sin).

Yes I am angry at you. I am angry at you for misleading people in the way you said that the Crouches were. The Crouches’ sins were the less. Your sins are fundamental. The Lord never said His grimness was our strength, yet you treat Him as though He did.

The pride game is yours alone.

I repeat the scriptures, and they are categorically unacceptable to you.

You distort the scriptures to your destruction... just as the bible says.

Now are you SURE you have dotted every I and crossed every T? If you must look at the scripture that way?

I think you flunk big time on love.

You know you flunk big time on love. Your conscience is going to haul you close to the fire, I boldly predict. If you have conscience left.

While there, remember again Christ’s promise. Whosoever will BELIEVE on Me. BELIEF is first. A new obedience will begin to follow and will be proof of the belief.
