You say, I say.
You want to play the game—I see. If liars lie, and you like the lie, you want the practicing Catholics to dump the truth and “get real” by saying ex-Catholics are Catholic—especially if ansel has seen it in print somewhere in the dependable media crafting.
Those voters you puff against are not Catholic but obviously protestant of the Church, except in your own mind and theirs. To “get real” is to get the truth.
I get the point, you are not intellectually curious of the facts of Church faith and practice. Your job is to not know but to speak anyway. chuckle.
Wow, that is pretty freaky, but of course they are Catholics.
They are baptized Catholic, are members of the Catholic denomination, and they call themselves Catholics.
When Nancy Pelosi meets her Pope in Rome, and takes Communion at the Vatican, she does it as a Catholic. Your disapproval of the majority of Catholics, does not make them non-Catholics.
May I?
Please don’t bash bad Catholics by calling them Protestants, slandering Protestants that are totally devoted to Christ as they truly see it.
A pro-birth control Catholic is gravely disobedient in their mortal sin. A pro-birth control person of other christian denominations might be sincerely following his denominations teaching or his own honest interpretation of the bible. That makes him not gravely sinning at all - far better than the disobedient Catholic/ex-Catholic.
A bad protestant is disobedient to his own beliefs, not one disobedient to Catholic beliefs.
And don’t forget about that repentance thing - Jesus doesn’t give up on us while we’re alive here, so don’t you give up on anybody still alive here...even those on death row or headed out of that abortion mill (the still living one)!
Let’s be fearless in our search for the fullest truth and following it! Pray for and love those that don’t vote for Jesus.
