The New York City Police Department is taking aim at owners of certain shotguns and rifles, telling them all long guns with a five-round or more capacity must be turned in, altered or taken out of town.
An estimated 500 recipients of the notices, which were mailed on Nov. 18, were given the options to surrender their gun, permanently move the gun out of city jurisdiction or employ a licensed gunsmith to modify the weapon to get into compliance with the law. Rifles and shotguns with a capacity of five or more rounds are affected.

I’m starting to think the misuse of terminology is just another way for them to help obfuscate the issue.
Rather than talking about how blatantly unConstututional their ex post facto law is, or how anyone attempting to enforce such a law should be strung up from the nearest lamppost as a warning to others...

In Georgia, a CCW license and a completed Form 4473 is all that is needed. The NICS check is waived.
I found that having one saves $5 a pop each time you buy a weapon. In the past, my license has paid for itself in just a few purchases throughout the year.
I find all my guns in lakes all across America. :^)
LMAO, I can see that now. A guy is moving his Cache of weapons and clips ( a couple of clips and 3 weapons) out of town and is stopped by the police charged with multiple felonies, concealed weapons, the clips, and gets 20 years in jail.
I am partial to lake weapons that have been well-parkerized....
