Exactly.

A pawn shop has to be an FFL because they are transferring ownership of the firearm. But even if you pawn a gun they run a background check.

I bet they’d find some way to charge you with a crime.

In Georgia, a CCW license and a completed Form 4473 is all that is needed. The NICS check is waived.

I found that having one saves $5 a pop each time you buy a weapon. In the past, my license has paid for itself in just a few purchases throughout the year.
