Could GPS rockets help put an end to high-speed police chases?

The new technology allows a police officer to fire a dart-like device from the grill of his cruiser. All the officer needs to do is get close to a fleeing suspect before firing the rocket, which then sticks to the other car with super sticky glue.

When that happens, the pursuing cops can stop their chase and watch where the criminal stops via GPS. …

And if the rocket sees it’s an obama son, it will self destruct and stop following.

"When that happens, the pursuing cops can stop their chase and watch where the criminal stops via GPS"

So they will fire a rocket and electronics that will cost thousands of dollars to see where a vehicle stops after a pursuit.

Then Officers can recover a vehicle that may or may not be occupied, that may or may not have evidence in it, at a location that may or may not link the offenders to the pursuit that they may or may be able to prove that they were involved.

Sounds perfect.

BTW, both of our vehicles were built in a non-union plant in Monterrey, Mexico.

Let me get this straight, you bought "Government Motors" vehicles that were built in non-union, Mexican Sweatshops by non-American workers in a foreign country? You may as well be communist.

(Is that what you meant by That said, I expect to see you anti-GM “sheep” bleating about GM by return mail.?) LOL

Ahh, yes, THAT guy. Almost nothing phases me when traveling. I've lived and commuted in the DC area and San Fran area. I don't get road rage. I alwasy expect to be surrounded by Jacka$$es. I am calm and considerate and defensive MOST always. But THAT guy..... ooooooh, he reminds me of all sorts of things I used to think about doing to idiot drivers on the 495 beltway at rush hour.

This sounds kind of stupid. How does the trooper determine who was driving the car? (break in the chain of evidence)

Yep! You fit the bill! No further reply is warranted. You’ve succeeded in making an a$$ of yourself without any outside help!
