he worked hard for reconciliation that could have gone far worse (Rhodesia->Zimbabwe)!

The end of the story has yet to be written. South Africa could well become another Zimbabwe. Whites are being killed and many are fleeing the country. The murder rate in SA is one of the highest in the world.

The Usurper is on the air less than a half hour after Mandela dies. Yet, we still don’t know where he was and what he was doing for the 18 hours during the attack on Benghazi.

I think of the scene in Godfather II when Michael says about Fredo, “I don’t want anything to happen to him while my mother’s alive.”

I just hope nothing comes up like Iran nuking Israel or China invading Japan... 'cause The Obamanation Am I is all tied up with mourning by showing his mug all over--

Very interesting—Joe Pollack from Breitbart seems to be very knowledgeable re Mandela. His remarks about “idealogy” in comparison to Obama were rather confusing.

Another dead Commie. And we should care... why?

How dare this wretched little "man" in the White Hut use the same departing words for this bloody Commie as were used for Abraham Lincoln!!??

... this is worse than awful...

Oh, he can read all right. If it is Marxist dogma, he can not only read it, he can commit it to memory. Anything else, though, is in one big ear, out the other.

Mandela was a scumbag. The world is a better place without him.

While that's true, his successors are bigger scumbags, and it's possible that he was, while alive, a restraining influence. Now that he's gone, I expect RSA to go full Mugabe.

Did his actions unite SA or doom it to the status of the majority of crap countries in Africa? Not difficult to answer.

I wonder which street in the Sulphur Springs or College Hill sections of Tampa will be renamed Nelson Mandela Blvd?

This was already done a couple of decades ago -- on the Rutgers University campus. (Rutgers is New Jersey's state university.)

Actually it was even worse that that - a campus street was named for the murderous Winnie Mandela, too.

I can't be sure, but would suspect that Winnie's street was probably quietly renamed, following the news about dear Winnie's necklacing (i.e., burning alive) people who dared to cross her.
