New way to fill up

Corsicana Owners of the Tesla electric vehicle in Texas can now travel freely through the Golden Triangle, thanks to the opening of two new charging stations.
Navarro County is host to one of the Supercharger stations that was officially opened Tuesday at the Collin Street Bakery Interstate 45 location. A second charging station was opened Tuesday afternoon in Huntsville.
This officially opens the Texas Triangle, said Daniel Witt of Tesla in conducting Tuesdays ceremony on the bakery parking lot. Were pleased to have these open for Tesla customers to travel free throughout these routes.
The 120-Kilovolt charging stations work exclusively on the Tesla electric sedan, providing ample recharging of the vehicles battery system in the time it takes to have lunch, Witt said. The service is provided free to those customers.

Our Superchargers are roughly 125 to 150 miles apart, so you have adequate range to get from Supercharger to Supercharger comfortably, Georgeson added.
Wow, that’s great! Drive 2 hrs, take a nice long stop to eat a meal, then repeat the process.
So you nearly double the time to get from point A to B, but you get to feel all smug doing it. And you end up with that great Al Gore physique from all of the overeating! What’s not to love?
I think I will just keep driving the HEV diesel.
OK, how soon are other electric car manufacturers going to make a plug that plugs into Tesla’s free charging station. Or an adapter.
I see a product opportunity. An adapter that adapts cars like the Prius with battery hookup and the leaf Nissan to use the Tesla charging station’s connections for that free fill up. C’mon Musk, it’s for the environment of course. They’re not thieves, they’re visionaries.
Since I know this has an enormous lawsuit attached to it, I published my idea as I think Tesla would be mighty upset that their free world saving device would work with other world changing devices.
Gaea is not pleased!
Prior art is happy though.
