Rep. Lowey Calls Paul Ryan 'Naughty Boy,' He Calls Her 'Mom'

Rep. Nita Lowey (D-NY) on Wednesday told the New York Times that she and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) are friends and that she calls him "Naughty Boy."

"Believe it or not, Paul Ryan is a good friend," Lowey told Times columnist Gail Collins in a conversation about GOP trainings on how to speak to women. "He calls me Mom. I call him Naughty Boy."

Lowey told Collins that the GOP trainings will not solve candidates' difficulty appealing to women voters.

This is one of the things that I can't stand about Sean Hannity. He has his liberal buddies on his show, they argue back and forth for a bit, then he smiles and assures the audience they're really friends. Or he'll have on someone like Brent Bozell, and they'll laugh while discussing the latest outrage. "Those rascally Democrats! What will they do next?" (Not said, but implied by the attitude).

There's nothing funny about what's happening to this country. I find it hard to understand how anyone can be anything other than sick with fury.
