Obama White House Calls GOP a "Cult Worthy of Jonestown"
Town Hall ^ | Dec 18, 2013 | Conn Carroll

Today, Politico confirmed that governing-by-executive-fiat is exactly what Podesta has in mind. The only shocking part of the story is Podesta's justification for shredding the Constitution:

In effect, I was told, it represents the clearest sign to date of the administration’s interest in shifting the paradigm of Obama’s presidency through the forceful, unapologetic and occasionally provocative application of White House power. Podesta, whose official mandate includes enforcement of numerous executive orders on emissions and the environment, suggested as much when he spoke with me earlier this fall about Obama’s team. “They need to focus on executive action given that they are facing a second term against a cult worthy of Jonestown in charge of one of the houses of Congress,” he told me.

The upcoming ‘Fight of the Century’ will be between Podesta and Jarrett.

You mean Jarrett won’t leave on her own after being asked to?

Reminds me of what FDR did to the Japanese in World War 2.

The San Francisco liberals were big beneficiaries of Jim Jones’ political support.

Yeah, I would have thought it weird that they named Bob Jones University after an atheist.

Actually both parties fit that bill. Too bad they both can’t be eradicated with a reset button.

Seems to me the White house believes up is down, right is wrong, black is white, and short is long.

More like, they think they can convince their brain dead constituents that those things are true, which they can...

John should have said:

“Yes, we’re aware that Barack would like to cloak his DICTATORIAL AMBITIONS, with a rubber stamp Congress, but we’re going to pretend the Constitution still applies to the governing of this country.”

Using this type of imagery to support the Obama’s power grab is truly frightening. Unfortunately, last month my wife and I went to a Republican Party meeting in our area. We had fun speaking with everyone there including several state level legislators. Unfortunately, the average age of people in attendance was around 70 years old. It reminded me of my parents church which finally disappeared when all of the movers and shakers eventually either died or went to nursing homes.

Unfortunately we have allowed younger people to be indoctrinated by liberals in our public schools, by celebrities in the entertainment industry, and by liberals entrenched in the media. I am not sure if there will be a tide swing back to common sense in the nick of time or if we are heading off a cliff.

It is a very dangerous turn to the first steps of dictatorship and one party rule when the leaders of a faction of the Democratic party decide their causes are so right and just that the differing opinions of a co-equal branch of government can be described as cultish and therefore are deemed not worthy of respect, and that the rule of constitutional law is subject to be overridden by extra-legal means.

It’s hard for me to believe that the majority of Democrats do not perceive the absolutism that OBAMA is propounding with this end run around Congress.

This is beyond party partisanship. It goes to the legal foundations of the Republic.

It would seem there are no depths to which the Leftists will not sink in lowering the tone of politics in America.

This sort of thing is sewer stuff, plain and simple.

Jim Jones was a marxist. Wonder if Podesta knew. It’s not like it’s exactly common knowledge. Here’s the proof.

Jim Jones, The People’s Temple and Revolutionary Suicide

I’ll bet you didn’t know (and the media would never tell you) that the Jim Jones/People’s Temple mass suicide in Guyana was a Marxist/Lenninst revolutionary act.

In 1976 the Peoples Temple changed a San Francisco political juggernaut which was secretly harboring designs of world communist revolution to a paranoid North Korean-style enclave in Jonestown in 1978. There, they negotiated with the Soviet Union, North Korea and others for a possible exodus. A Soviet delegation visited Jonestown, showering it with praise.

Why would he pick Podesta? The first movement of the man is to prove what an idiot he his. Bringing up Jonestown is a big mistake given the parallel with Obamacare and who is in charge.
