A&E was hit by a 12-gauge “Duck Dynasty” backlash Thursday as religious and conservative groups denounced the network for suspending the reality show’s gay-bashing star — whose family suggested it could be the end.
Supporters of show patriarch Phil Robertson — who in a magazine interview compared homosexuality to bestiality — called for a boycott of the cable network.

(i) Polygamy
(ii) Pedophilia
(iii) Bestiality
(i) and (ii) can be “justified” by ^consensual assent^ (AKA: loving relationship).
(iii) will be difficult and take much longer because an animal cannot rationalize a loving relationship.
This is not true....they promised not to cut ties with the Robertsons!!!

Phil didn't 'gay bash' in the GQ article....and they don't 'gay bash' on the show....or to each other...or anywhere.
They are God fearing, down to earth and a loving, real family.
Next on the A & E agenda is sending people on hiatus if they are pro life.
Well polygamy may be next but pedophilia is right behind that one as they are gaining ground in getting “special rights”....

GLAAD does not speak for the majority of Americans. A&E was just looking for an excuse to let DD go.
My suggestion would be to cancel your cable or satellite TV package. This will put pressure on A&E from the more powerful media conglomerates like you wouldn't believe.
Continue to enjoy DD but via a la carte service or by some means over the internet. The first season is free if you have Amazon Prime.
Are we really going to allow our right to free speech to be trampled on because of some agenda the liberals and the MSM (whom they own) are trying to shove down our throats by punishing Mr. Robertson and thereby depriving all of America of his witticisms for simply sharing his thoughts when asked?
It's time to show the MSM who's the boss in this country. We are the ones who decide what the programming is going to be in this country and we will do it by canceling our damned programming, until we get what WE "the people" want to see! Let's stop being Wusses folks and take America back!
Call in and CANCEL people. If enough of us do it, there will be repercussions to A&E's actions which the MSM never dreamed - it will unite us and wake up a sleeping giant in this country, filling him with a terrible resolve. ;)

I haven’t seen every episode, but the ones I’ve seen had no “gay bashing.” In fact, in one episode a flaming photographer came over to take pictures of Phil and Miss Kay, and Phil was nice to him.

I don’t consider what he said ‘gay bashing.’ So, again, we’re looking at the homosexual community’s not only not tolerating actual anti-homosexual speech and acts, but insisting that homosexual behavior has to be celebrated. You must celebrate homosexual behavior as on a par with heterosexual lifestyle.
