Hugely stupid decision - agree. Cracker Barrel’s audience would agree with Phil 10 times more than the average population. I can’t really think of a time when I saw a metro-type in there.
LOL - I almost made it 30, but couldn’t avoid the Royals this year - actually not sucking for a change.
I just left them a message on their “contact us” page. My family have been frequent guests of their restaurant in Dumfries, VA, and were planning to go there for breakfast on Christmas.
In my message I said we stand with Phil, and as of now we will no longer dine in their restaurant.
Reminds me of that computer backup company that pulled out of Rush’s show.
Are they still in business?
Don’t buy their stuff.
It appears they actually pulled anything with Phil’s image of “Happy, Happy, Happy” on it - including his book. Time will tell.
When the Chick-Fil-A attack was on a major Wendy’s franchiser from North Carolina (70 plus outlets) expressed his support for Chick-Fil-A. He was slapped down by the Wendy’s HQ fag lovers.
I have not set foot in a Wendy’s since then. I realize that they don’t care about losing someone like me as a customer so long as the perverts are appeased but I can get feel a trifle better at not contributing to there bottom line.
They would rather go bankrupt than be un-PC
I understand Cracker Barrel is only removing Duck Dynasty products; not Duck Commander products. Now, that is good.
I just returned from my local Cracker Barrel.
I first walked in and meandered through the store, finally asking a young helper where the Duck Dynasty merchandise was....(it wasn't apparent and they had it at the back of the store on a small side wall that you would have to look for).
I looked carefully and there were Si items....his book, some drinking cups, and a few other nondescript things.
NO PHIL
So I went to the front of the store and asked for the manager.
The woman I asked said she was the 'retail manager'....and I think she was up there waiting on folks to come in for this very reason.
When I complained (but did not raise my voice) she gave me the rote...'we took some items off the shelves that could be offensive'....
...also, she said 'we've waiting to see how this whole thing settles'
At which I replied...Well, I'm offended.....I live here, and I frequent your store and I have for many years
She then handed me a brochure with the corporate phone number and said that's all she can do.
I expressed my major disappointment and told her I would make sure folks in my county know about this.
As soon as I left, I called corporate and they put me on hold a good 20 minutes or more.
The woman who answered sounded tired...and admitted they are inundated with calls.
I was gracious to her, but told her to please relay to corporate that I not only would never go back to their store....
..but that I have lived in this county forever and I will make sure everyone else knows how Cracker Barrel discriminates ....
I also told her I have a Facebook page....and other venues to get my voice across.
She said they do have some Duck Dynasty items on display........and I said Sorry, but that's hypocritical....to display a few....but leave out Phil
I truly felt sorry for her....and wished her a Merry Christmas....
..she was sympathetic, I could tell, but still.....it seems the only venue we have right now.
My husband wrote them and complained of their religious discrimination.
This Cracker Barrel is in Viera, Florida.
Yeah, they don’t want to tick off the 5 gay people that eat there.

Apparently, a lot of people don’t know that Cracker Barrel has been bullied by the feds over the gay-lesbo thing for years. Cracker Barrel has tried to be pro-traditional family and might be just giving up.
Why would Cracker Barrel even care?
Some affirmative-action compliance exec, I’ll guess.
Run “Cracker Barrel homosexuals” through a search engine.
