President Barack Obama is golfing on his first day of vacation.
Obama, typically an early riser, got a late start, staying at the home until early afternoon, when he headed to the golf course at a nearby Marine Corps base. Joining Obama for the round of golf were Sam Kass, the White House chef; Marvin Nicholson, Obama's trip director and a frequent golf partner; and childhood friend Bobby Titcomb, the White House said.
The presidential motorcade left his Kailua vacation home and arrived at Marine Corps Base Hawaii at about 1:10 p.m.
Obama, in white golf shirt, hat and sunglasses, was all smiles as he drove past reporters accompanying him to the Kaneohe Klipper golf course.

I hope he took his TV out to the golf course so the media can keep him abreast on the 4 injured US soldiers in Sudan that we have been told Obama is keeping a sharp eye on.
After all, he finds out all that happens by watching TV like all us yokels do.

You can’t expect the Obamas to visit the private beaches on Oahu. He has to make sure the most popular ones are closed for him. Lani Kai and Kailua will be shut down pretty much. The only real private beaches are the ones at the marine base. But he can’t be expected to swim in water infected by little people ( Marines and their families).
