“You have to wonder just how common this kind of thing is, especially in bitter divorce or breakup cases. “

And the funny part is that the majority of single women reading this will, within the hour, lament on the fact that there are so few men willing to commit to marriage.

In my view this all boils down to the inherent evils of state licensed marriage.

I'll marry absolutely any woman at all.

For exactly one night.

Annulled in the morning.

Recently there was commentary in another thread that struck me... the freeper was talking about the dating scene and pointed out that with feminism and technology it has cheapened relationships to the point that the present dating scene and “hook up” culture is just completely fraught with an overwhelming sense of “suspicion”.

I think I am coming to hope that I never get married and have kids. I had a discussion last year with guys on a construction gang I was overseeing... they were all Navajos... and one of the guys, a heavy equipment operator said, “But who is going to bury you when you die? That's why you have kids... so someone can burying you”.

It left me wanting to just wander out into the desert, blow out my brains and let the coyotes and bobcats take care of the carcass.
