"Beyond angry, ordered a big Christmas present and was 'GUARANTEED' to be here today. We have not left the house all day & have been nervously pacing. This was supposed to be my son's big gift. Never showed up, thanks for nothing," posted Susan Danielle Harrison.

She puts the 'pro' in procrastination.

Has ANYONE thought that this year was the SHORTEST Christmas Shopping Season that you can have. Thanksgiving was the LATEST that is could be in November. All of this sounds like “Piss-Poor” “Planning”!

Blame the incompetent post office. More and more people have learned to use UPS and FedEx. UPS and FedEx can’t carry that many extra employees all year that are only needed at Christmas.

The post office COULD use their army of middle managers (who outnumber mail deliverers 6 to 1). But then someone might notice that having them missing from their desks makes the USPS run better.

We received every order from Amazon through UPS or Fedex on time, even as late as the 23rd. One package from USPS has yet to arrive. Guess we were the lucky ones. More people are buying on line than ever and puts quite a demand on delivery services and the fulfillment warehouses. I don’t blame UPS or FedEx, but the USPS, while mostly good, is the service to blame.

Daughter in Minn said her driver told her big chain offered free postage with guaranteed delivery on Monday orders and dumped them into the UPS system knowing there would be failures they would not have to pay for on Tues. Nothing illegal, but will probably generate new rules and regulations for mailers. Fair play doesn’t exist any more.

IMO UPS and FEDex companies really do a great job.

Wife unit received 2 out of the 5 items due yesterday. No biggee as we had the important “things” around us today.

Tipped the UPS guy a Christmas bonus ...since he was out at almost 8pm on Christmas Eve.

UPS has been great here, and I'm in a remote area on the Rockies. FedEx did me wrong, though, and FedEx employees seemed to be rather proud of their misbehaviors. I won't go into that now, but there's more.

It’s the fault of the idiots that put off shopping and shipping at the last minute.

My UPS guy said it was crazy out there this year. He had never seen it so busy. Everytime I saw him this Christmas, he was running literally — literally running from truck to house and back to truck, and speeding off. It must have been difficult for drivers in areas like those ice storms in the No central states.

My son is a UPS driver. It has been a very difficult season for him, it has almost driven him off the edge. We often forget that these deliverers are people too, and they are missing time with their families to try and get your gifts to you.

I saw this story earlier and just didn’t care.

Then I read a Daily Mail article about it and had to comment:

Let me provide some insight here that I didn’t garner from comments:

UPS crapped on its employees in August with the spousal healthcare elimination, ostensibly due to Obamacare. But you won’t read about that in any of these articles.

Would YOU be a happy & motivated employee this Christmas???

The Grinch isn’t UPS: Focus frustration on the White House & Congress.

(footnote: We voluntarily withdrew from ‘Commercial Christmas’ 10 years ago...I still don’t care)

Saturday night, a couple changed their minds and decided to join us for Christmas dinner at our place. I told them that I had to check to see if I could let more from Allen Brothers first. or I wouldn’t have enough quail. Early Sunday morning I went to Allen Brothers website and sure enough it showed that I could get the additional quail delivered on the 24th. I ordered and paid the $50 next day air delivery...UPS by the way. The shipment never arrived. luckily the other couple made other plans after I told them the dilemma. Today, I left a note on the front door to reject the delivery and return to sender. the dry ice will have already melted Tuesday night and today the food will be spoiling. In part, I blame Allen brothers for guaranteeing what they could not and in part, UPS for mis-routing the parcel. the food cannot be recovered and while not angry. I hope that Allen brothers will make some sort of concession for the $200 loss to me. It happens. I’m thankful for Jesus. The plans of men fail. but Jesus endures.

She puts the 'pro' in procrastination.

Nothing to do with "procrastination." < sarc >

We gotta remember most, if not all, of the whiners are Obama voters. They're entitled.

When something is "guaranteed," they expect delivery in the middle of a nuclear war; or a hurricane; or an ice storm.
These mental midgets promise to use the USPS, or FedEx, or some magic fairy delivery system that flies in different planes, in different weather, use different trains and trucks and travel in Obama-promised weather.

Speaking of which, why don't they ever whine about Obama's "guarantees?"

Gheez!
