But wait a minute, I thought Christie was (Rush Limbaugh’s mocking voice) “an enlightened moderate, just pleasing to Washington’s eyes and ears.”

Not to worry.

NYT is certain to be all over Whitewater, cattle futures, Vince Foster, Billy Dale, “for the common good”, fjb, ashtray, the missing Rose Law Firm billing records, illegally obtained and retained F bi files, brain in a blender, Huma, Behghazi, “what difference does it make”.

Not.

If they’re going to cover Christie properly, they will need to invest in some wide angle lens for their cameras.

Yep. Never forget this is “the paper of record” that endorsed Mondale in 1984 and Dukakis in 1998. No way are they EVER going to portray any Republican in a positive light against a liberal Democrat. Not even a ‘squishy moderate’ like Christie. They might throw him a token bone or two (the Times said nice things about H.W. Bush before proclaiming Dukakis the only acceptable choice for President in 1988). But that’s about it.

Christie will fare no better than McRomney, McCain, McDole & McDullard, Inc.

NYT used their 'old grey lady' status to nominate & set-up McLame....
.... So Obama could win in '08

Likewise--
Mitt "half-fast" Romney was cheered & falsely flaunted as GOP front-runner...
... so he could be similarly trampled in '12...

**************

It's time to stop permitting the lefties to nominate both sides of the national ticket....
... in order to gain their own preferred outcome....

Just sayin...

NY Times Ready to Cover Chris Christie Exactly How They Covered Mitt Romney: Badly

Don't worry. Christie has powerful friends who will step up to help when the time comes.

We know the drill. The MSM will swoon over Christie to make sure he wins the primaries. Once he's the candidate... they'll shift into gear and trash him, insuring Hillary's win.

This tactic worked last time, they'll use it again.

I am sure the only republicans that will vote for that fat liberal from NJ get their news from the New York Times.

Why this early? Usually they wait until the target has the nomination...clearing the way for sacrificial lamb (to Hillary) Jeb?

The NYT may support him in the GOP primary but recall the fable of the scorpion and the frog! The NYT could watch a shaft of golden light and choir of angels descend upon a Republican candidate and they would say that he is insufficiently multi-cultural and offensive to the Satanists!

IT IS THEIR NATURE!

The difference is, though, that Christie has a much bigger mouth than McCain or Romney and engages in thuggish behavior against his perceived enemies.

It will be interesting to see the Christie vs. the NYTimes show.
