Police in Alabama are investigating the killings of rapper Doe B. and another person in a shooting Saturday that also wounded six others inside a bar and grill.
Police say the gunfire happened around 1 a.m. about a half-mile north of Alabama State University.
Police identified those killed as 21-year-old Kimberle Johnson and 22-year-old Glenn Thomas, both of Montgomery. They said Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene. Thomas — an up-and-coming rapper known as Doe B. — was taken to Baptist Medical Center South, where he was later pronounced dead.

The "Fine American gun owner" killed my friend! Kim was a great person! She was smart, funny, and caring! She did not deserve this! All she wanted to do was celebrate her 21st birthday! Amos and Andy was gut bustingly funny in it’s day. Stereotypical of the race depends on reference point. Five generations back Aunt J on the place was real sick deathly ill and everyone was very concerned including my elderly grandmother who visited Aunt J in her cabin and inquired if there was anything that she could get her to make her feel better.
After some insistence on granny’s part Aunt J responded reluctantly “a babies hand” with distinct long ‘a’ pronunciation.
