Comrade De Blasio Takes Over (2nd Detroit)
Front Page ^ | 02 JAN 2014 | Matthew Vadum

Communist-sympathizing radical Bill de Blasio has laid out an ambitious, far-left agenda as he begins what is destined to be a disastrous reign as New York’s 109th mayor.

Leveling left-wingers, with their perverse obsession with income equality, are looking eagerly to the city in the hope that the new mayor will “morph New York City’s municipal machinery into a closely watched laboratory for populist theories of government that have never before been enacted on such a large scale,” according to a fawning New York Times profile.

It’s not hard to imagine “big money” leaving NY, much as “big money” is leaving France.

I think when the Wall Streeters start having to pay 75% of their profits to the NYC gubmint, things will change!

I bet you that the real Big Money still believes that 96th Street is a wall, 72nd Street is a moat, and Central Park South is the Castle Keep.

Get your popcorn ready.

I welcome these liberal bastions electing communists.

I know many former subjects from behind the Iron Curtain. This will not end well and the hatred of Communism by the survivors will go for generations.

I so hope DeBlazingCommie comes out swinging quickly, so we can witness an early destruction of the rotten apple. He needs to shakedown the rich and middle class hard and distribute their cash to the lazy and crooked plunderclass that makes up most of the population in the city.

The train is off its rails and the best is yet to come.

neighborhood gangs are going to grow as people who stay will start defending their blocks and territory — sure it happens now - but its going to get even worst...the movie, Warriors, comes to mind...

His first test: will he be out of bed in time to call out the snow plows for NYC’s first serious snowstorm?!

EVERY Conservative American should stay completely out of the Rotten Apple. No vacation trips and no business conventions. The decaying city is now directly in the hands of the CPUSA!

Never happen. Not in a million years.

DeBlasio's target is the whites on the Upper West Side and in Brooklyn, who have reoccupied large tracts of the city since 1993.

THEY are in real, real big trouble.

The international money people who are building that gigantic wall of luxury buildings on 57th? Who do you think INVENTED "Bill DeBlasio" out of the scummy little communist Warren Wilhelm, junior?

Since "Barack Obama" and HIS cadre of commies took over, has it been bad to be a partner at Goldman-Sachs or Bank of America?

I rest my case. "Wall Street" is safe. Park Slope? Get the hell out.

I think something like 200-400 people will now be out of work due to this. Since they are true eccentrics, the drivers will probably end up on the dole - and, of course, you’re right, the horses will end up on dinner plates in Great Britain.

Manhattan is hardly decaying. And B’klyn has made a huge comeback. I’m still waiting for the gorgeous Grand Concourse to come back. But, it’s undoubtedly a rich person’s town now not a middle class one.

I have popped bags and bags of popcorn, have stoked up and 48 oz sodas, and have turned the tube on. Now to sit back and watch this guy impale his ass on his own tongue. Boy oh boy, this is gonna be fun…………...

Manhattan WAS hardly decaying.

With a true blue Clintonian Communist now occupying Gracie mansion, the continuing rise of taxes, the roving gangs of mentally challenged youth, the increasing number of Muslims what could possibly go wrong with your fool’s paradise?

Perhaps in the future there will be a Wall Street, but the activities now performed therein, will be relocated to, say, Charlotte.

The tourist trade will drop to that of Albania as no one wants to journey to a city where one might get the shit beat out of them.

Don’t get all huffy. It’s not my problem that New York is not falling into decay the way all you people wish. In fact, my only problem with the city is it’s outrageous bans thanks to that moron Bloomberg. And the Muslims are hardly overrunning the city. I see more in my NJ mall than I do in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

How fast will it happen? I know someone particularly detestable who has moved to NYC and bought a domicile I doubt he can afford. Will the mountains of reeking garbage and violent crime start this winter?

Interesting--but you ignore "livability" for the Wall Street types. What will happen when their precious private school baby gets mugged and thrown under hills of black trash bags?

I know someone whose net worth is in the low double digit millions. He's bought a brownstone worth maybe five. Now he has new taxes and he squanders money anyway.

Hey, Miss. I’m not getting all huffy. I just prefer to live out my years in my small coastal town in Florida. I do have a residence in the State of Ohio, but it, too, is located in a small rowdy-less town.

Regardless of where one chooses to live, there is still that presence of evil that haunts one’s thoughts firmly ensconced in the White Hut and in the halls of a duplicitous Congress that continues to enslave us.

I merely recounted the factors that will keep me out of Gotham for the rest of my natural life. The problems I listed are not all inclusive, but are the reasons that the decent citizenry of New York must be aware as they are life threatening.
