Just a few days after Christmas, more than one million of our fellow Americans lost a vital economic lifeline – the temporary permanent insurance that helps folks make ends meet while they look for a job, sleep in and send a few resumes out >

FIFH.

Study after study and empirical data (Don't extend unemployment benefits) have shown that when the free money stops, the people magically find jobs that eluded them for 2+ years.

Unemployment insurance was supposed to be BRIDGE insurance for a short time. 10% unemployment (the real #)=90% employment.

And anyone who says "there are no jobs" is 100% full of crap. It is "there are no jobs THAT I WANT TO PERFORM."

The debate should not be about......how much money goes into the economy or whether or not it is a detriment to people getting jobs or not. The debate should be whether we are going to turn unemployment benefits into another welfare program or not.

A new problem has arisen because of the democrats: immigrants, legal and illegal have taken all of the fall back jobs. And in most cases are the hiring manager. As such they only hire their own kind. Every fall back job location is extremely monolithic. I am not big on extended benefits and I am pissed about this latest development.
