They (GOP) vote to raise taxes, the debt ceiling, and bailout Solyndra, then sponsor a bill to ban flag burning.

No, it hasn’t, and it will not. Because it’s stupid. Institution are the way they are because the people who CONTROL them want them that way. People need to get that. Since the GOP likes how things are going, and they CONTROL what’s happening, how could anything possibly change? Unless we want to start the “Long March through the Institutions” we’d better think of something else.

I like Liberty Party. Not Liberalterian, they’ve become the Pot Party. Conservative Party, wrongly, will keep people away. We need a loose coalition of people who simply want liberty.

Also, I think Capital Hill is a lost cause. It can only be reformed by a physical purge (I mean physically remove just about everyone there). The States are where we can win, then simply starve DC.

It’s not too late while we’re still armed.

That’s an clear example of the fakery to hustle grassroots conservative voters.

Sponsoring bills that go nowhere or get rejected by the other party so that the emotional issue can become a phony issue for the next election.

Karl Rove called these “wedge issues”.

Emotional issues take us away from the real ones like the bankrupting of the country.

Yeah. We gave them an inch; they took a mile. It’s time to take back 1000 miles. Eagles up!

The British are a little slow on the uptake, about 250 years slow.

Well, at least some of them are beginning to see what is going on in their own country, as well as ours. Glad to see that our cousins across the pond are awaking up and taking action to take back their country from the immigrants, the marxists of the Labor Party, and the damned fools who don’t know anything and don’t care.

Hey brothers: “Party on dudes, like it is 1773”.

“...I’d prefer that we conservatives take over the Republican Party, and let the Collaborators start their own party.”
*****************************************************************
Amen, St Thomas!! We’ve made considerable progress in that regard and can make much more in 2014. Of course, it’s been hard work and has required sacrifices—work and sacrifices some have not been willing to make. They’d rather whine and/or sit at home on election day and/or vote Libertarian. None of those have been or will become winning “tactics”.

Tactics such as voting Libertarian have only served to help the progressives advance their cause—witness the recent Virginia governor’s race where the 6.6% vote for the Libertarian candidate handed the Governor’s office to Terry McAuliffe, the corrupt progressive Democrat.

The primaries are where the Tea Party can do the most damage to the GOPe. The GOPe tries to step on the Tea Party but the Tea Party is gum they can’t scrap off their shoes.
..................................
It’s 2014 now. Has that worked?
********************************************************
Well, it certainly worked in Texas in 2012 when Ted Cruz defeated the GOPe candidate and is now a firm and steady Tea Party presence in the Senate.

And it is 2014 now. But 2014 has just started and has considerable promise for many more Tea Party gains at the expense of the GOPe. Of course the GOPe, sensing its slow demise, if fighting back mightily.

Will we Tea Party types be successful in 2014? I hope so. It partially depends on how effective the defeatists (and “5th column” conservative pretenders) are in their efforts to derail and demoralize the effort. And don’t doubt for a minute that there are defeatists and pretenders amongst us.
