House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) retorted to a reporter’s question about slipping support for Obamacare at her Thursday press conference that it was called the “Affordable Care Act.”
Pelosi has referred to the law previously as Obamacare, although she also told Meet the Press host David Gregory she’d “always” called it the Affordable Care Act during a contentious November interview.

Q: The three “Obamacare” bills on the floor tomorrow in the House, some Democrats have indicated they might be open to supporting them. How strongly are you pushing members to vote against them? And does it start to become a sign of weakening support if more Democrats –
NANCY PELOSI: Absolutely not. First of all, it’s called the “Affordable Care Act.” If that’s what you’re referencing, yeah, they are going after the Affordable Care Act. They’re saying, let’s do everything we can to take away health insurance from 9 million Americans who already have it and prevent many more millions of Americans from having it.

Affordable? Not according to the thousands of Americans that YOU screwed out of good actually affordable healthcare [lans into Obamacare plans (yes he owns it) that are poor plans and not affordable. Please just shut up and go away.

Hey Pelosi! It’s not affordable care. It’s some insurance scam by your friend 0bama. Go peddle that to some hospital or doctor that’ll take it.
Perhaps she should be asked, to list some times when legislation passed for the supposed purpose of making something "affordable" has actually accomplished that purpose.
The only ways to make anything affordable to those who would otherwise not be able to afford it are to either make it unaffordable to some people who would otherwise have been able to afford it, or increase the amount of it which is produced; the latter course of action will generally require a continuous injection of revenue. The Affordable Care Prevention Act does nothing to accomplish the latter; therefore, to the extent that it does anything it can only do the former (make care unaffordable to people who otherwise have been able to afford it).
