In less than 24 hours, the big three networks have devoted 17 times more coverage to a traffic scandal involving Chris Christie than theyve allowed in the last six months to Barack Obamas Internal Revenue Service controversy. Since the story broke on Wednesday that aides to the New Jersey governor punished a local mayors lack of endorsement with a massive traffic jam, ABC, CBS and NBC have responded with 34 minutes and 28 seconds of coverage. Since July 1, these same networks managed a scant two minutes and eight seconds for the IRS targeting of Tea Party groups.
In contrast, journalists such as Good Morning Americas George Stephanopoulos pounced on the developing Christie story. The GMA host opened the program on Thursday by announcing, Chris Christie in crisis. Calls at this hour for the feds to step in, investigate the explosive e-mails.

Not to mention Benghazi. (”Huh? Ben-Who?”)
Isn’t a govt controlled media wonderful? sarc/
If a donk had done Bridgegate, no one would have heard of it.
This is a tough one... I hate the enemedia, and I don’t think highly of Krispy Kreme (”R”, NJ) either.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
They whore for democrats...
Didn’t take long for the media and donks to turn on the preezy’s bestest buddy. They used to love him sooo much.
Donks do Bridgegate or worse daily. Just think EPA, IRS, DMV, or OSHA. They go out of their way to harass people.
Forgot TSA.
And who is surprised?
who cares how much coverage those legacy networks have given the scandal? no one watches those channels for news anymore. I personally haven’t seen a CBS,NBC or ABC news program in 20+ years.
Had a Republican done any of the IRS, Fast n furious gun running, wire tapping the Press or Benghazi these scum would have demanded daily for Impeachment and removal on a daily basis.
The Liberal media hate all Rs no matter if they are RINO or a Tea Party. Of course, Tea Party are worse to them.
I am no Christie supporter, never was. However, he has decided to sleep with dogs, he now has to deal with the fleas. Christie is getting what he asked for.
“I’m going to give you a little advice. There’s a force in the universe that makes things happen. And all you have to do is get in touch with it, stop thinking, let things happen, and be the ball.”
“Be Reagan, from the beginning, just be Reagan. If they don’t hate you from the beginning then you’re not being Reagan. To win they must hate you from the beginning. Be Reagan.”
If Watergate was a third-rate burglary, Bridgegate amounts to someone passing wind in public. I thought Christie remarkable when he took on NJ teachers. Since then, his official pronouncements have been nothing more than passing wind. Christie is a good ward politician or perhaps a better used car salesman.

The U.S. attorney in New Jersey is opening an inquiry into claims that public officials orchestrated the massive traffic snarl on the busy George Washington Bridge to settle a political score and has asked the FBI to help.
The probe announcement came Thursday as Gov. Chris Christie, a possible Republican White House contender, spent the day addressing the brewing scandal over his staff’s role in orchestrating the traffic jam after a local mayor declined to endorse Christie’s re-election bid.
