Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) told Face the Nation today Obama cares about the troops – something he didn’t see with President Bush.
“I know the president. I know how he feels about these troops and that’s basically what the secretary said so I’m glad he did that. I’m glad he had second thoughts. And, I cannot say that was the situation always with President Bush.”

Not that it matters much to me, but I have the misfortune of having to work in this moron’s district.
Oddly enough, I don’t consider this a lie; I honestly believe that he is legitimately stupid enough to believe this. I somehow can’t dislike him in the same way as I dislike Reid, Pelosi, et al.

Evidently in his book, Gatesu remarks on how often he would see Bush well up when dealing with the troops. He makes a point of saying that never once did he see Barry exhibit an ounce of emotion.
Could be, could be as B. Hussein Obama DOES like the troops that attacked and killed the Americans in Benghazi.
After 16 months, B. Hussein Obama still hasn’t found any of HIS Benghazi Muslim troops that attacked and murdered OUR Americans in Benghazi.

Obama cares for the troops. He cares that they die, for him, not for everything America, not for the defense of their loved ones, but to die, so that there is one less veteran, who knows what makes Ameica great, and so that veteran cannot stand in Obama’s way!

It’s my understanding that President bush and Laura still go to the airport every so often to welcome troops home.
IIRC, it was nearly a year and a half after he moved into the WH that Obama made his first trip to Walter Reed.
How many times has he visited there in 5 years? Maybe 4 times.
