You are right. This war will be contained until one of our subs sinks a couple of their ships. On any given day we can take out their surface fleet.

A Pacific naval battle could get nasty in a hurry ... with the ChiComs involved ...

The U.S.N., Japanese, Australians would be involved.

The big question is ... "Will the first player to lose an Aircraft Carrier resort to nuclear weapons".

Mind you, I didn't predict the nationality of the Aircraft Carrier ... ChiCom or U.S.N.

Dittos for the undersea battle ... as per HFRO, you could probably walk from Manila to Toyko stepping on the array of submarines involved in such a scenario.

The ChiComs doing this sabre-rattling clearly don't know what they're taking about ...

Then again, Obama has about as much military backbone as "Pajama Boi" ...
