I didn’t need any paperwork to remember those dates, especially the day I got into the military or my wedding date. Wife did forget our anniversary more than one year. And they say husbands forget.
Of course, I am also the type of person who seldom needs a phone book. I used to know the SSNs and home addresses of about 15 people in my section. Scared one LTC when I was requesting order for training.

Of course they lie. Two root causes of that:
1) Theirs is a “flexible” morality. Truth is relative and the end justifies the means.
2) The form is more important than the reality. The package trumps the content.
Add to that their inherent insanity and you can never trust what you hear from a liberal’s mouth. “If you like your health care you can keep your health care” ring a bell?

Oh, I have little doubt that us Texans will be informed “above the average” and will vote accordingly.
It always disgusts me that conservatives don’t “go for the jugular” on the abortion issue when the local candidate is obviously being supported by the national rank-and-file.
Extreme damage can be done to the credibility of the “national support” when politics is dragged (kicking and screaming) out of the local arena.
We always say that “politics is local” but, more and more, that is not true (one FR wags says that “all politics is vaginal”; LOL!). A local pol needs to be dependent on the national party to get elected, at least ideologically. If not...no money (case-in-point, how much $$ is Wendy getting from ideological sycphants from outside TX?)
