Damn that bugged the hell out me back when.

It bugs me now: the wide range of "marker-dates" means that, as a society, we don't have a well-defined "now you're a man" age.
(There's 16 for driver's license, 18 for age of majority and tobacco, 21 for alcohol, 25 for insurance/car-rental/health-care...)

End all those marker dates. What good have they done? Let parents decide when a kids old enough. Government is the problem.

It bugs me now too. It’s been bugging me since I was drafted at 19 in 1966. If you’re old enough to defend freedom in a military uniform you’re old enough to do all that other stuff, period.

I think 18, 19 and 20 Year Olds do more damage because they can Vote.
