Fact is, the Nat Weather Service DID call for the worse weather to the south of Atlanta, so the Governor rightfully delayed deploying the State's limited snow gear until it was certain where the storm would do the most damage. That wasn't certain until around noon on Tuesday. The interstate backups were due to the usual snow panic where everyone tries to leave work or school at the same time.
Deal is getting a raw "deal" on this call.
That’s exactly what happened. I live in north Georgia and was watching the local weather channel when it started snowing. That was the first clue that I had what the weather was going to do in my area.
