BREAKING: Yellowstone’s Supervolcano Belly Rumbling
A Sheep No More ^ | 2/3/14 | Andrew Pontbriand

Posted on 02/04/2014 8:24:36 PM PST by Mike Darancette

A seismometer inside a borehole at Yellowstone National Park has begun reporting staggering underground activity near the southwest corner of Yellowstone Lake, possibly signaling the beginning of an eruption of the Super Volcano at the Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park is home to many beauties, with it’s ancient landscape, geysers, and hot springs. It is also the site of one of the worlds most destructive forces. A supervolcano.

We just visited there in Oct. after Obama evicted us from Yellowstone and we decided to detour our route home. It was quite interesting.

We were going to hike to see the fault scarp but there were recent grizzly sightings/warnings. We weren’t sure our pocket glocks were sufficient griz deterrents so we’ll return better equipped.

I wonder if sprouting seeds and beans and eating them with Ranch dressing could get one by for a couple years. Sprouts grow in the dark.

let’s go boo-boo, and forget about that pick-a-nick basket.

You're confusing it with the Jellystone Supertornado that comes out of its tree every seventy years and knocks tents over.

God’s wrath for America cannot sleep forever. We don’t know if this is part of it, but honestly, don’t we deserve to be destroyed as a country? We’ve murdered more children than the Hittites ever did, and they are no more.

Repent, America. Seriously.

You nailed it. If Y-stone goes, it's taking the the whole world down with it. Of course, here in the States, we'll be wiped out in a matter of hours to days. Where I am in Idaho, I'll be moving on to my Eternal Reward in about 4-5 hours after Y-stone lets loose...especially if the chain of volcanoes that make up the Snake River unzips. Cowardly expats who love to bash their former nation, drawing SS while not paying their expat taxes, will have to deal with the horror of starvation/cannibalism in their Turd World paradise.

The difference is that ol' Alex admittedly stopped paying his expat taxes years ago. He bashes his former nation, denounces as fools those of us who refuse to turn chicken-a** and run away, yet still expects the US military to come save his cowardly backside if the Chicoms decide to invade his Turd World paradise. I don't know if he still considers himself an American, but he feels compelled to open his festering gob and bash America from the "safety" of his beach chair in the Philippines. Even worse, he encourages (bordering on outright recruiting) others on this forum to turn chicken-a** and desert their nation, as he did, just when America needs us most.

No one is suggesting we deny Alex -- or his wife -- his SS payments...we in the "manger dog pound" are just sick and tired of his smug and sanctimonious denigration of the USA, which, despite our problems, is still the greatest nation in the history of the world. Other expats don't shove our problems in our faces, like Alex does. If he wasn't such an annoying punk we'd just ignore him. But he is, and that's why we call him out every time he shows up to pollute a thread.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

Thanks for the ping gleeaikin, first, and foremost. I've always wondered why that resource (Yellowstone) was not utilized for steam power plants. Could power much of the U.S. from that one location. Know am not in the majority with that opinion but fwiw am throwing out my belief.

Gods promise in Genesis 12 about Israel.

“What are expat taxes?”

If you are an American citizen, no matter where you live, you still have to file an income tax form to pay taxes if you owe them.

My son has lived in London for over twenty years as a director of documentary films, he is a Texan US citizen and has an accountant to figure his US taxes and his British taxes.

Yes, you can live on that but I suggest storing actual dry beans and actual rice. Rice and beans together creates a complete protein. I do have long term stored sprouting seeds. Broccoli seeds have the most nutrients compared to others. Broccoli sprouts do not taste like mature broccoli, they are fine tasting sprouts.

Mars indeed would be the only place left to go, at least as far as any organized society is concerned, should the super volcano blow it’s top.

This isn’t something anyone can “prep” for, with skies around the globe literally darkened for years by volcanic ash, no crops are going to grow anywhere, not to mention global temperatures plummeting us into a form of a natural nuclear winter. Again for years.

It’s an “ELE” (extinction level event), like was said in the movie Deep Impact.

So like death itself, this is pretty much not worth worrying about, because nothing can be done to avoid it or its impacts.

No, you don't understand. This is hugh and series. We are all doomed. DOOMED I say.

All you can do is dig a hole to sit in, keep your beeber stuned and hope for the best (which is pointless, on account of our inevitable, impending doom.)

“The Southern hemisphere will not be as badly effected as the Northern hemisphere. The Sahara will probably bloom again as cloud cover causes weather patterns to migrate East from the Atlantic.”

Oh - I forgot to mention the millions of deaths due to wars as humanity scrambles to control the last few habitable places on earth.

We wouldn’t be wiped out. It would royally suck, but if it was enough to sterilize the interior of the continent there would have been a lot of larger animals extinctions recorded in the local and regional stratigraphic records.
