Pretty sad. I guess she didn’t know how to give CPR. 5 days suspension is an insult.

Police officers are trained as First Responders. They DEFINITELY know how to give CPR not only on adults but infants as well. As part of the First Responder class, they can do deliveries (including how to do a breach delivery), control bleeding (even how to do a tourniquet if needed). They have to pass the class in Rookie school or they don’t pass Rookie school. I know what happened... she was afraid of doing the airway breathing. Usually, they have masks for that... In short, she should be FIRED in my point of view. Whether the male could be revived or not... we nor his family will never know. She failed to do her job.
Okay here’s the reality. If a blunt trauma patient needs CPR, they die. That’s pretty much 100%.
