I am so pissed off about this. If it was not an election year, it would not be as concerning, but since he is extending this just to get past the most important election for a Republican in awhile, I think this is just dang horrible. We still can win the Senate and Keep the House, but they just made it more difficult. 2016 is not our year at least for the Senate as we have a ton of seats to defend. 2014 was our best election year in quite a while and they just pulled the rug from under us.
How many times is the creep going to be allowed to change odumbocare? Odumbocare is and has been a disaster from the get go. Dump if FOREVER and odumbo along with it..
While breaking the law, violating the oath of office and shredding the Constitution.
The “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010” is no longer a law - it is a rat maze. With not even the lure of cheese at the end.
Instead, the individuals trapped in this labyrinth are propelled from point to point by repeated shocks, flashing lights and distracting noises. The original stated objective, to cover the some 15% or so that as of 2009, were not covered by some other form of health services payment plan, has failed miserably, as now there are even FEWER people who have any kind of coverage they may go to the health care facilities and expect to be treated. Some have completely lost coverage they once had, and have not been able to replace it, at any price. Those who attempt to get the coverage find themselves unable to scramble through the bureaucratic maze to get to anybody that can give any kind of authoritative answer, and even that does not assure that they may actually HAVE coverage when the visit the doctor. If, in fact, they are even allowed to visit the doctor they have known for years and they have come to a degree of trust with. There is a wide range of completely useless medical services (to them, at least) that have been mandated, while whole categories of what may be for themselves, a highly necessary category of treatments and therapies which may be totally denied. Try being over the age of 75 and getting a hip joint replaced, for example. I suppose it could be done out-of-pocket, but not in the territory once known as “the United States of America” any more.
This is not any kind of health care payment insurance. It is a program for DENIAL of medical services and treatment.
Don’t get sick, and if you do, die quickly.
The soft prejudice of lowered expectations, becomes the fierce and unrelenting discrimination of, “You’re not one of us, the favored and protected class!!”.
It also hastens the demise of the exchanges and forces insurers to adjust rates higher because of the lack of full paying and healthy participants in the exchanges.
Insurers need a much bigger pool of people who pay full price in the exchanges to offset the losses incurred by people who are getting subsidies and people with costly pre-existing conditions.

I’ll continue saying what needs said, our disgust should not be directed at the unconstitutional acts on The One. This is 100% Congress’ fault plain and simple. The executive can only do what is enumerated within the constitution. When he has stepped outside of those limits it is Congress’ job to hold him to account. Every Congress critter (including some of my personal favs Rand Paul and Cruz included) just talk talk talk with no
action to completely halt his overstepping authority.
I no longer fault Obama for what he does. This is now in the hands of Congress to stop him...they refuse to so are complicit.

Conservatives are having a hard time arguing against the delay when they originally wanted to delay it.
But remember the administration passed this by arguing that it would cut costs, reduce deficits, improve healthcare and save thousands of lives and be extremely popular.
Now they are delaying it because ostensibly it allows time for business to adjust, but really because they know they’ll get hammered in the election because it will hurt individuals and businesses.
This proves not only did they push this through based on lies, but they realize it was all lies.
It also raises the question as to what their original motivation was for ramming this law through.
This is how this needs to be argued.
