Recount?! Too bad union thugs. Although the count was closer than I would have liked, they still lost. I don't think the VW employees in TN are hurtin'. I could be wrong.

This is going to help Americans all across the nation. This is 1500 more paychecks that won’t be raided by the DemocRATS to fill their campaign “war chests.”

Now the thugs know they only have to heat up the intimidation on a little more than 3.2% of the workers before they take another vote.

That was too close.

Once the UAW camel gets its nose under the tent, it sucks the blood out of a company. So far, the right to work states have fended them off, but Obama has been trying mightily to stack the NLRB so its decisions are pro-union, especially in the area of elections. One vote, one time... like the Middle East.

BIG SOCIALISM has just suffered a blow in the South.

How to Identify Legal Plunder
But how is this legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply. See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them, and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime.

Then abolish this law without delay, for it is not only an evil itself, but also it is a fertile source for further evils because it invites reprisals. If such a law — which may be an isolated case — is not abolished immediately, it will spread, multiply, and develop into a system.

The person who profits from this law will complain bitterly, defending his acquired rights. He will claim that the state is obligated to protect and encourage his particular industry; that this procedure enriches the state because the protected industry is thus able to spend more and to pay higher wages to the poor workingmen.

Do not listen to this sophistry by vested interests. The acceptance of these arguments will build legal plunder into a whole system. In fact, this has already occurred. The present-day delusion is an attempt to enrich everyone at the expense of everyone else; to make plunder universal under the pretense of organizing it.

Legal Plunder Has Many Names
Now, legal plunder can be committed in an infinite number of ways. Thus we have an infinite number of plans for organizing it: tariffs, protection, benefits, subsidies, encouragements, progressive taxation, public schools, guaranteed jobs, guaranteed profits, minimum wages, a right to relief, a right to the tools of labor, free credit, and so on, and so on. All these plans as a whole — with their common aim of legal plunder — constitute socialism.

HOORAY 712!

It’s not necessary to hang chad. We can vote him out.

It’s easy to…

Within a year the unions will be back trying again.
Lefties never give up. They keep coming back, wearing the opposition down.
‘Will of the People’ be damned.

All they had to do was look at the Saturn plant in Spring Hill, TN and the Peterbilt plant in Madison, TN. Both UAW shops. Both now closed.

89% voted, so 11% weren’t motivated to bring in the UAW when they had their chance.

Wonderful news! Workers didn’t want to pay dues to support liberal causes! Entry level workers are making more than their (union) counterparts in Detroit, and they like it that way. UAW membership is down from 1.5M to 400K! What great news this morning.

That and the Ninth Circuit Court decision that California gun laws were against the Constitution and CCW is coming - make my day, Lord.

Did the egos at UAW figure out the reason why they lost was because of them? VW wanted an “European” style union and all that was available was the thug union that “cares” for the worker; especially the dues.

I think Volkswagen was smart for staying neutral as it made more people look into it for themselves.
