“The report omitted the fact that the launchers for the mobile ICBMs were exported from China in violation of United Nations sanctions on North Korea. China claimed the launchers were sold as timber haulers and that Pyongyang converted them to missile launchers.”
Timber Haulers, good one.

It’s an old GPS guided drone. Our current drones are so far ahead it could be considered an antique. It wouldn’t surprise me if they gave it to them as an active way to see what they were capable of. GPS is highly vulnerable, unlike the new systems.

The drone appeared to be a North Korean copy of a Raytheon MQM-107 Streaker target drone, the report said. North Korean press coverage of the event described the UAV as being capable of precision strikes by crashing into the target. So the North Koreans have developed a cruise missile larger than the German V-1 that is designed to hit a target. And this is progress how exactly?

So... In most respects, it is -still- a target drone. Yes?
