Woo hoo!! We're all gonna be rich!! Go, Bammy, GO!!

Next year,,,,goes to zero...No Obamacare leftover for you Sam.
What refund?
I owe about $160 this year, so I guess I’m holding down the average.
I love the part in the piece where it says 18 -34 year olds are going to spend their refunds on “shopping and going out”. You mean they are not going to spend it on vastly overpriced high-deductible health insurance?!? Those knuckleheads!
The article doesn’t mention how many of these “windfalls” are actual windfalls: EITC.
Average interest free loan to the federal government more than $3000 so far
Isn’t that nice of Uncle Bammy to give us back some of our OWN money?
Either these people like giving no-interest loans to the Feds or they get a heap of “credits” that have nothing to do with their real incomes.
Exactly. USA Today says this as if the government is handing out money to us. They took too much of our wages and now, finally, are giving back what they owe us. Its like being excited when someone repays a loan they owe you.
I wonder how much of those “refunds” go to people who filed for the “Earned” Income Credit, i.e., redistribution program?

And if they were paying you interest? Big Deal.
Will 3 bucks even buy you a cup of coffee these days?
Cheapest ObamaCare plan - $20,000.
That almost comes out even...
I’m self-employed. What’s a “refund?” Does that mean I’ll finally get the 2nd half of that SoshSecurity tax I’ve been forced to pay all these years, only cause I’m self-employed??? I’m not getting double benefits yet even though I’m over 70!!!
Wait until about April 30th....the “average” will lower....people who OWE taxes wait until the last minute
I will be writing a check for $5 thousand and some change -—— on April 15th before he deadline.
People who owe money are not part of the equation. The average “refund” right now is supposedly $3000, but if you owe money, the average amount owed is probably more than $3000.
I feel your pain as self-employed.
If the average worker had to actually write checks to pay taxes instead of having it semi-painlessly take from their wages, instead of thinking a “refund” is some gift from the government they would realize how much they are paying and their would be a revolt.
We write the IRS a check every year. On top of what we have paid them throughout the year. I do not mail it one day earlier than April 14th and I also write F U THIEVES in the memo section. They cash it anyway.
