Oooops! Wrong country. But Malaysia is a Muzzie country with 61% population (of 28 million) following that path, their flag is Muzzie, and the captain and f.o. were Muzzie. And they are right next door to the country with the largest Muzzie population in the world.
I’m putting my money on Islamic terrorism being the most likely candidate for the malfunction of the aircraft.
This is very curious to me as well.
I sure don’t know if it could happen, but maybe the plane hit the water at such an angle that it went down in one piece? So the debris would be contained? Of course, that wouldn’t explain the oil spills.

If the plane went down in all one piece then the black box or the plane itself would send a ping wouldn’t it? They would have been able to easily find it by now and do sonar to determine if its underwater..the whole thing is just strange it like it disappeared into the Bermuda Triangle

We will take our nourishment through straws or plates of delicious food. Then, after plenty of experimentation, we’ll report back our findings and ask for more funding.
Gravity is very complex and may take decades to understand.

The thing that I keep thinking about is the report of two oil slicks separated by a good distance...making it more believable that the aircraft was split up on impact???
If it was they should put some sonar down there, should be pretty easy to find..I know the saying what goes up must come down but I would think what goes down will eventually come up again, the plane would rise to the surface, from what I hear its shallow water in that area some parts of the plane would surface I would think
There should be a debris field somewhere...It’s odd to find an oil slick but no trace of ANY debris, large or small? Doesn’t make sense...
How long did it take the Air France flight(The one from Rio to Paris) to surface? Heck who knows if the oil slick has anything to do with the plane, could be unrelated(I know thats far fetched but who knows)

Not sure how long but I think they didn’t find the main wreck site for over a year, but they did find debris within days ( I think) after the crash. I also had the same question about the slick...you would think they could test to see if there is any aviation fuel within the slick.

Ah, yes. A glorious time. Kananaskis and Turner Valley area for a week looking at rocks (I am a geologist) then Banff and Lake Louise with the Mrs. Her favorite vacation of her life. I suppose mine, too. It is good to know that there are still wild places on this planet. Texas is just one fence and house after another.
Most of the aircraft, aside from the furnishings such as seat cushions, plastic trim, and scullery, are made of aluminium, titanium, and steel, all of which are heavier than water. Those items lighter than water, if worked free, may rise to the surface. The heavier than water bits, probably ~90% or more, will not rise off the seabed unless lifted.
Re: oil slicks, I too am rather dubious about the slicks spotted having anything to do with the aircraft. The photo of the slick sighted shows some yellow residue which would not be indicative of a kerosene spill, though it could be turbine oil from the engine lube system or hydraulic oil. There are many small tankers traversing this area, and they still do dump their slops after tank cleaning.
