What about Zell Miller? From what I've heard he's the only RAT representative who was (he either was voted out or voluntarily left politics) truly a "Dixie-crat" meaning the Dems probably looked at him as a Dem In Name Only (DINO version of RINO).

Miller was the last of the kind of democrats that used to control the “Solid South” when that meant solidly democratic. All the others have died out, many of them switched to the Republican party long ago with Strom Thurmond being one of the first. In those days the GOP was considered the “libeal” party.
