Iran has all sorts of Airbus wide-bodies in their state run airline. If that was their plan why not just use one of those?
Not according to a New Zealand guy working on an oil rig. He said he saw a burning plane, gave his exact coordinates, time of day, and gave the direction of the line-of-sight. I looked it up on google earth and it made sense that the plane was heading due west when it crashed and burned.
I’m going to make a really speculative remark that they know precisely where that plane is and are trying to figure out what to do about it. All this running around from one ocean to another is a stall tactic. The whole thing is bizarre.
