I think is plus 2 ahead of GMT time. That makes 9 hours ahead of EST. Wrong! I've been to all the time zones involved. It is 2 hours ahead of GMT, but GMT is just 5 hours ahead of EST not 7. They haven't gone on daylight savings time yet, to it is currently only 6 hours ahead of EDT.
