Former Top Putin Advisor Sounds The Alarm: Putin Has Already Declared War On Kiev
Forbes ^ | March 17, 2014 | By Paul Roderick Gregory Contributor

Posted on 03/17/2014 8:39:08 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Andrei Illarionov, formerly Vladimir Putin’s top economic advisor (and personal envoy to the G8) , has warned in an interview with Ukrainian television that Putin has already declared war on Kiev. Putin’s war is being conducted by Russian Spetsnaz (special operations) forces and KGB (now called FSB) agents and is aimed at toppling the pro-Western government in Kiev. The Spetsnaz forces’ orders include the sowing of civil unrest throughout Ukraine via strikes, demonstrations, staged incidents, and street battles. Putin’s subversive forces will also gin up neo-Nazi incidents with Nazi regalia and Swastikas on full display. Their orders include as well the deliberate killing of Russian soldiers and of ethnic Russian civilians to prove the hatred and extremism of radical Ukrainian nationalists. These orders come from Putin himself. Their goal is to create an image of intolerable chaos and loss of civil authority to justify a Russian takeover of all Ukraine. Putin’s goal is the destruction of pro-Western authority in Ukraine, the total humiliation of the West, and a makeover of the geopolitical balance.

Illiaronov’s urgent advice to Ukraine: Place all your effort into preserving civil order and avoid falling for the Spetsnaz provocations. (This will be difficult as Spetsnaz-organized gangs are already storming public buildings in East Ukraine). Ukrainian authorities must immediately close all borders with Russia to slow the infiltration of Spetsnaz and FSB destabilization units. Ukrainian TV and radio must immediately broadcast all their news in Russian or in English because many Ukrainian citizens and Russians do not understand Ukrainian.

Illarianov pleads that the whole world understand what Putin is up to. A Putin success in taking over Ukraine would change Europe and the balance of power and lead to further “restorations” of the former Soviet Union...

This is what is now in power in Kiev (8 national socialist ministers in the new regime).

Russians and many Ukrainians will fight to the death rather than allow these Nazi scum to control Ukraine.

“...He won’t get past Poland...”

It would help if Obama hadn’t cancelled the EE missile defense and considered other military programs embarrassments and relics of Cold War thinking. Dreams of his Father doncha know...

He’s not going to Poland. He’s not going to Kiev, unless the neo-Nazis start killing Russians, then he will.

I believe there are thugs playing their own games amidst all the dust which isn't close to settling there.....

....some just want a reason to unload their ethnic issues...others like a good fight because they are thugs....But then you have both the USA and Russia sending in their own thuggery as well to incite these conflicts among the people.

Too many of the videos of these conflicts look staged by both sides throughout Ukraine...with the exception of Crimea....so you have to admit with Putins troops in Crimea it's been 'very calm' for the most part by comparison from the beginning.

You need to be more concerned about Jews in Russia and in the Crimea. Putler is not too worried about his own skinheads and their crimes.

You may be right, but for me it’s a toss up between
Czech and Polish. I could at one time understand all three.

One should not underestimate the trauma of World War 2 on the psyche of Russians (not to diminish its effect on other East Europeans, too). For them, losing 20+ million people only 70 years ago (more than half civilians) and having all of their country destroyed up to Petersburg, Moscow to the Caucasus, and then seeing neo-Nazis with their “kill the Muscovites and Kikes” taking a major role in the overthrow an elected government and taking a large portion of the new regimes post (and all of the security posts) has lit a fire of resistance among almost all Russians. They won’t accept it, and it was stupid to have orchestrated this.

The solution, I believe, is Finlandization (neutrality) for Ukraine and federalism with autonomy for the regions and respect for minorities, religions and languages.

For the US or NATO to fight and try to keep the neo-Nazis in power in Ukraine will absolutely lead to World War 3.

...”They have significant positions of power and authority”...

For that reason made it all the easier for Crimea and other areas populated by Russians to resist. Many are more afraid of the New Gov. then they are of Russia....but others are willing to endure till the new elections in May.

Speaking of which they'll be plenty upheaval then to sabotage the elections if it even begins to look like those in power now might loose it. IMO.

Try the press in Europe, Israel, and England, and skip my posts altogether. Have you even read anything about these two parties or the positions held in the new government there?

candidly speaking

....”I believe in the Inalienable right to self determination. Ukrainians deserve that”....

I don't think that's what happened in Ukraine...it was a violent take over regardless if or not the people were satisfied with the results or how corrupt the election might have been that gave them the President they despised....it was still THEIR election. Both sides used corruption in the run up to the election, and violence to that end which we see playing out as well now.

In my opinion some nations citizenry unfortunately think democracy is all about who wins rather than the balance of power, and they have little if any understanding of that.

I know other Jewish people who are leaving Ukraine because they won't remain with the Representatives that are now in the Ukraine Gov.

You’re one foul mouthed disgusting poster...and you call yourself a Patriot? Your sick remarks are all over the threads...can you not control yourself when people express or state what they choose to post here? I don’t understand where your hatred comes from.

The gates of Hell have been opened.

Since I just recently discovered this, I have been so saddened. It is like seeing Hitler rise again in my lifetime.

Interesting to see the cold war armchair warriers becoming so upset and angry.

Putin is no angel for sure but the neonazi rise to power in Ukraine is a blight on the planet. I don't even care about winning a discussion, it is just too too sad to see this happening, again. Again!

LOL...”Cold war armchair warrior's”.....well that might just explain it. They more than get their pants in a knot. Unfortunately too many still refuse to believe the neonazi rise to power there...and it's NOT about Putin making it appear so either. ( The propaganda machines are working heavy now). I've seen several video's of the new administrative meeting etc. turn to violence already...of course our news never reveals these. I fear about the election coming...these thugs are going to burrow deep and tight very fast throughout Ukraine now. The head of their security will give their kind a free pass to be sure.

You may want to wish that for the 20% who don’t meet the ethnic Ukrainian standard, esp if they are Jewish. It doesn’t look good for them. At best they will be second-class citizens.

Ukraine's prime minister, whose parents are Jewish, is clearly being oppressed. If there was any justice in this world, they would have appointed him king instead of merely prime minister.

...”The gates of Hell have been opened”...

I have to agree. There love of brutality is unceasing. Unfortunately the generations today have no understanding of history nor care to understand, let alone see the threats.

Thank God the people in Ukraine understand and know what’s happening there...and some who are planning on leaving...who can...and may God protect those who cannot.
